De bouw van het Albert Hall Museum, een architectonisch wonder dat de interesse van talloze heersers en ontdekkingsreizigers heeft gewekt, begon in 1876. Er was veel verwarring over de werkelijke functie van dit bouwwerk toen de eerste steen werd gelegd tijdens het bezoek van Prins van Wales Albert Edward (Koning Edward VII).
Reizen naar de Hawa Mahal laat je onderdompelen in de rijke geschiedenis en architectonische wonderen van Jaipur. Het imposante "Palace of Winds" is een herinnering aan het koninklijke verleden van de stad. Het toont het voortreffelijke vakmanschap en het magnifieke ontwerp van de vijf verdiepingen tellende buitenkant, die lijkt op een honingraat met 953 kleine gaatjes, bekend als Jharokhas, versierd met sierlijk traliewerk.
Het Stadspaleis van Jaipur is een koninklijke residentie en een oud administratief centrum voor de vorsten van de staat Jaipur. De belangrijkste attracties van het Stadspaleis zijn de toegangspoorten, Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal en het Maharani Paleis. Het paleis is een prachtige mix van Mughal- en Rajput-architectuur en huisvest nu de laatste overgebleven koninklijke dynastie.
De Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is een astronomisch observatiepunt dat in het begin van de 18e eeuw werd gebouwd. De 19 astrologische instrumenten die door Rajput-heerser Sawai Jai Singh, de stichter van de stad Jaipur in Rajasthan, werden opgericht, zijn hier te zien. Het zijn monumentale voorbeelden van erkende instrumenten in metselwerk, hoewel ze vaak unieke kwaliteiten hebben. Het is een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie met 's werelds grootste stenen zonnewijzer. Het ligt dicht bij het stadspaleis en de Hawa Mahal.
De tempel is echt sereen, perfect om met je eigen gedachten te zitten en je spiritueel te voelen. De architectuur is een droom voor fotografen, maar als je het in de volle zon wilt bekijken, is de ochtend misschien beter.
De Jal Mahal is een paleis in het centrum van het Man Sagar-meer in Jaipur, de hoofdstad van de Indiase staat Rajasthan. U kunt de Jal Mahal vanaf de oever van het Man Sagar-meer zien, aangezien het paleis een vijf verdiepingen tellend gebouw is met vier verdiepingen onder water.
Gebouwd in de Aravalli Hills, ongeveer 10 km ten oosten van Jaipur, bij een bergpas. U kunt de apen van dichtbij observeren en ze voeren, omdat ze vrij in de jungle leven en zelf op zoek gaan naar voedsel. De tempel staat bekend om zijn natuurlijke bronnen, die water verzamelen in tanks (kunds).

We spent the entire afternoon with him on a private tour, and the experience was fantastic. From the very first moment, he was very kind, approachable, and attentive. He took us to all the places calmly, adapting to our pace and giving us time to enjoy each stop without rushing. In addition to being an excellent driver, he was very pleasant company throughout the entire journey. He shared recommendations, answered our questions, and made us feel very comfortable. My wife and I had a lovely afternoon and evening tuk tuk tour with Amin! We were lucky enough to happen to meet him when we ordered a private uber, and ended up spending the rest of the day with Amin. Today we had a full afternoon tour with Shampoo from 12.30 to 7pm. Shampoo has patiently driven us to Amber Fort, Jal Mahal and a tour of the block printing factory. Shampoo kindly took care of our bags while we were visiting each site and stopped and gave us insights and information along the way. We had a great experience exploring Jaipur with Amin. He was very kind, friendly, and easygoing from the beginning. During the tour he showed us the most emblematic places of the city and made sure we could see everything we were interested in without any rush. What we really appreciated was how flexible he was. He happily adapted the tour to the places we wanted to visit and shared useful information along the way, which made the experience even more enjoyable. At the end of the tour he also took us to a very interesting place where traditional fabrics are made. It was fascinating to see the craftsmanship and learn a bit more about local textiles. Overall, it was a fantastic way to discover Jaipur. We definitely recommend Amin if you want a friendly guide who will make sure you have a great time in the city.

Genuinely a nice guy that Amin guy, went alone and had one day left in Jaipur and still had Jal Mahal, Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal and some local food to go. Was a bit scared I might get scammed at the end because the guy told me a “too good to be true” price for driving me the whole day but HE HOLD HIS WORS and charged me the price he told me like 8 hours ago. He told me stories about the place, wanted me not to skip Jal Mahal which I wanted to skip originally, and he even waited two straight hours for me in front of Amber Fort without complaining in order for me to get my Tour in Amber Fort. At the end we stopped at Hawa Mahal to take a look from outside and to get me some local street food which I asked him to search for me - he picked, invited and recorded me eating on my camera. Very honest man, knows a lot about people and the city and definitely is a good pick. One thing is you might end up at a carpet shop if you don’t deny to drastically but just go along with it, it’s a nice experience, you’re not forced to do anything and he get’s a few cents for just delivering you there - if it’s not to much of a hustle just go along with it and enjoy the trip with one of the least scamy people I’ve met there so far.
