De Private Truffeljacht is een unieke ervaring voor liefhebbers van eten en wijn, natuurliefhebbers, kinderen en volwassenen, en biedt de kans om de geheime wereld van Toscaanse truffels in elk seizoen te verkennen. Toscaanse heuvels verbergen ware schatten, en we zullen u Gids door de Chianti bossen, onthullen geheimen van truffels, hun omgeving, biologische cyclus, en hoe truffel honden worden opgeleid. Onze bekwame jager en zijn hond leiden u van jacht naar tafel, waardoor u een onvergetelijke herinnering creëert. We halen je op en brengen je terug naar je hotel of appartement in Florence in onze comfortabele minivan. De ervaring gaat verder op een lokale boerderij, waar u zult genieten van een traditionele Toscaanse lunch met de truffels die u hebt gevonden, gecombineerd met lokale specialiteiten en wijnen, terwijl u ontspant in het prachtige landschap.

Chiarra(sp) was exceptional. She imparted so much history and truly was interested in Italian history. She was very comfortable with us and we were with her as well. The truffle hunting was very fun and the truffle lunch was spectacular

This was such a wonderful experience! Our guide was super awesome and friendly. The dogs were cute and we found a good chunk of truffles. Afterwards we enjoyed some of the truffles with a meal and wine with great views of the countryside. This is a 10/10 experience that’s become the highlight of our trip.

My husband and I had an amazing experience from pickup to finish! Our drive was stunning first off, and a very comfortable drive at that. The hunt was quite an adventure, with the truffle dog Be Be, who was so lovable too. We found probably 6, maybe more truffles. It was so interesting, digging them up and having our dog let us know if it was a truffle. She is so smart! Then the lunch at a winery after with wines to pair and learn about while there too. All truly amazing, very memorable and totally worth it!!! Will likely be our favorite experience in Tuscany!!!!

The most fun adventure!!! We really enjoyed our guide Phillippo and our truffle hunter Roberto, but we won’t forget Dori the truffle finding doggy! Phillip was an outstanding host. He was informative, enthusiastic, and very accommodating to our needs. The drive to the forest was spectacular, and was made all the more special by both the perfect weather and thoughtful amount of photograph stops made by Phillip (neither too many nor too few). The truffle hunt itself was fantastic, and again neither too long nor too short. Roberto, our hunter, and his two beautiful dogs were such charming company; it was an absolute joy to watch this team at work while also being educated on this very unique culinary area. We were then driven back through a couple of very pretty Tuscan villages, before arriving at the winery. It was fascinating to learn about the process behind the Chianti, and the views were stunning. However, my one regret concerns the meal. Every mouthful was utterly delicious, but I feel that the advertised three-course meal was not delivered. Considering the cost of the package, this was disappointing, especially as the rest of the tour had been delivered with such an intimate and personal touch. To be truly worth the price, it would seem to me that a more plentiful antipasto board is required, and a much bigger bowl of (delicious) pasta. Finally, a proper desert is necessary to merit the description of a 'three course meal'. We know from experience that biscuits and grappa do not constitute a proper dessert, but rather a digestif after a third course. If these considerations were to be taken into account and acted upon, then there is no doubt this truffle hunting experience would reflect the score of 5 stars it is so close to attaining.

<p>We had a successful truffle hunt with Marco, Sirio and the best dog, Bilba! We enjoyed the hike through the woods and discovering our buried treasures everywhere. The lunch at the nearby vineyard was beautifully prepared with our own new-found truffles!. The ride from the hotel to the hunt was in a Mercedes Benz minivan so it was very comfortable then the ride changed to a rugged but reliable Range Rover jeep in the woods.... Thank you for making this an awesome side trip!</p>
