Privacy voor de groep, je wordt vergezeld door een lokale gids die je een unieke dag in je leven zal bezorgen. De plaatsen om te bezoeken zijn uniek en bevoorrecht door een ongewoon spectaculaire natuur. ik ben erg flexibel voor het geval jullie graag de plekken kiezen om te bezoeken, ik ga overal heen, omdat het een veiligheidszone is.

Sete cidades is de naam van het lenige stadje dat we bezoeken in de krater. De route die we nemen is speciaal omdat het vol staat met bloemen, hortensia's en beterfly gember, en verschillende bomen. We doen een paar stops zoals Lagoa do Canário, King View. Cerrado das freiras, lagoa do Santiago, en lagoa Verde. Naast die lages kunnen we het gezang van de vogel horen, we kunnen gemoedsrust krijgen. We zien de grote mist tussen het groen van de natuur en het blauw vanuit de lucht. De natuur zal zeker veel emoties op de reis brengen. Onmogelijk om onverschillig te blijven.
Meestal begon ik de tour naar Lagoa do Fogo door het sud. In de Weg zullen we de mooiste uitzichten zien. De Miradouro da Serra da Barrosa laat de reizen zien hoe mooi deze competitie is, ik kan het niet allemaal in woorden onderscheiden. In deze tours passeren we naast twee geothermische centrales. De watervallen Salto do Cabrito, en het Monument Natural Caldeira Velha.
Ik ben altijd op mijn weg naar Furnas waar ik dol op ben Laat Ribeira Grande zien, want mijn geboortestad is de secant grote stad op het eiland. Ik stop in Santa Iria en geef gelegenheid om de theeplantage te bezoeken. Dan gaan we naar Pico do Ferro waar ze Furnas vanaf de top, de Lage en de twee kunnen zien. Deze tweeling heeft 23 verschillende wateren en de reizen hebben de mogelijkheid om dezelfde te proberen. . We bezoeken het park van de fumarolen in Furnas.. In het geval dat de weersomstandigheden het soms niet toelaten dat we sommige lokale bewoners zien, laat ik altijd iets anders moois zien. De reis wint altijd een mooie tijd.

rtur was an incredibly helpful, kind, and genuinely friendly driver. From the very beginning, we felt completely at ease with him. He shared many fascinating insights about the island, and since he is a local with family here, booking him also means supporting someone from the community, which made the experience even more special. He took his time with us and thoughtfully adjusted the plan according to the weather, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On top of that, he was always reachable by phone. There was even a moment when we got stuck in a town, and he came to pick us up without hesitation. We can highly recommend Artur and would absolutely book him again. We’d also like to mention that he will soon be offering an Airbnb, which we’re sure will be just as wonderful as the experience we had with him. We were two girls on a trip without a car and we always felt super save with Artur!

It was an awesome experience and enjoyed our day with Artur! Azores is beautiful place! The middle & west part of Sao Miguel is beautiful and so glad that we timed our visit during Hydrangeas blooming season ~ what a sight along the roads & farmland!

Artur was an absolute dream tour guide ! We booked an all day private tour hoping to see as much of the island as we could on our very short visit and Artur made it happen! Artur shared beautiful stories of his culture, history of the island and of course took us to the most breathtaking views! We were in awe! Not only was the island fully of beauty and wonder but Artur was also a shining star with his humor and welcoming ! Truly made us feel like part of the Azorean Family! We can’t wait to visit again and book another tour !

We found Artur through Viator from other reviews. He is super responsive and can customize a day trip or longer excursion for your group. We had a 3 year old with 6 adults so we needed to do child friendly activities. Artur handled it all getting us booked to try thermal baths and pre-arranged a fabulous “cozido” lunch at Restaurante Banhos Ferreos! It was AMAZING! Thank you Artur! Arthur was a very professional, passionate individual both my husband and I truly enjoyed a whole day. He accomodated the tour based on what we wanted to see, eat, drink, and experiment😀 We were so lucky to contact him. We got only one day before heading to Flores Island. In case we rented a car ourselves and wondered around the island, we decided to ask a professional guide to guide us. It is hard to do everything when you just came in as a foreigner. We would highly recommend him to anyone. He is so knowledgeable. I told him that he should also consider becoming a college professor😀

Artur single handedly made our trip in Sao Miguel memorable. He was so down to earth, great at explaining all types of scenarios (history, geography, culture, food, etc) from all different perspectives. He was able to look at his own country through many different lenses and provide a more well rounded experience than we ever could have hoped for. He was punctual, flexible, always accommodating, funny and kind on top of it. He took guiding us to a whole new level, finding ways to relate to everybody (7 in the tour group) on our trip. At the end of our 9 day journey, Artur told us we always had family in Sao Miguel now, and we really feel like it! Couldn't imagine going on this adventure with a different guide! Ps he knows all the best photo spots!
