Privétour van Killarney in county Kerry naar Cliffs of Moher, county Clear. U reist in een comfortabele SUV Lexus. Mijn tour is flexibel, we kunnen onze dag aanpassen. Geen andere boekingen voor die dag dus geen haast. Koffie, lunchstop of een ander idee. Petrus zal altijd genoeg tijd voor U hebben. Ik ontmoet U bij U thuis, Hotel, pension of Vakantiewoningen, geen probleem. Eventuele speciale verzoeken (bijvoorbeeld op zoek naar een dorp waar overgrootmoeder is geboren) geen probleem. Als u meer informatie nodig hebt, zal ik blij zijn om alle vragen te beantwoorden. Op weg naar de beroemde Cliffs of Moher stoppen we bij Bunratty Castle, een van de best bewaarde kastelen van Ierland. Zeer indrukwekkend monument van de Ierse geschiedenis. Bij de Cliffs bewonder je de meest spectaculaire uitzichten op The Island. (als het niet te veel mist is) Mystical Ireland.

De hoogste kliffen in Kerry County, hoger dan Cliffs of Moher, zijn gewoon veel minder bekend. Deze plek is een echt verborgen juweeltje van South Kerry. Prachtig uitzicht tot wel 300 meter boven zeeniveau. Bij mooi weer kunnen we Skellig-eilanden zien. Skellig Michael-eiland met mysterieuze bijenkorfhutten bewoond door monniken uit de 5e eeuw en mogelijk eerder door Keltische Druïden. Het tweede eiland heet de kleine Skellig. Reservaat voor wilde vogels. Meer dan 40.000 nesten van wilde vogels, voornamelijk papegaaiduikers en jan-van-gent.
Kenmare stad (Ceann Mara-kop van de zee) Voorheen Neidinekleine nest. Stad van piraten en smokkelaars uit de 16e, 17e eeuw. Charmant stadje ontworpen door Sir Oliver William Petty die dit gebied heeft gekregen als een betaling voor het in kaart brengen van Ierland. Hij legde een moderne stad aan in 1670. Nu wordt de stad Kenmare door veel mensen bezocht vanwege de schoonheid.
Kerry Bog Village is een plek waar in het midden van de 19e eeuw een grote hongersnood naar aardappelen werd bewaard. Traditionele huisjes met rieten dak en de geur van verbrande put zullen bezoekers meenemen naar de 19e eeuw.

The scenery was breathtaking. Peter recommended a spectacular place for lunch. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great information regarding Cork.
Peter was prompt, answered all emails quickly and communicated excellently. While driving through the Irish countryside he was knowledgeable about not only the history of Ireland but also filled in with some local folk lore. He made a long day fun!

The tour guide refused to pick us up from our hotel as advertised and then didn’t show up at the subsequently agreed upon location, so we gave up after waiting an hour. Tour company and Viator are refusing to refund even though we were stood up by the guide.
How can you lie??? What kind of person you are??? you booked cheapest tour from Cahersiveen and was demanding to meet you in Dingle, 120 kms from meeting point.
Ted Kennedy, my personal tour guide for the Ring of Kerry all-day tour, created a life-long memory that I will treasure forever. Ted is a local who has been doing the tour for over 30 years. He tailored the tour to ensure my personal interests - ruins, castles and cliffs - were prioritized and I had as much time as I wanted to explore and experience them. The Kerry Cliffs are even more spectacular than the more famous (for now) Cliffs of Moher! In addition to knowing all the historical background for the entire area, Ted seemed to know everyone who lived and/or was present along the tour route, whether along a remote road, at a stop or in a restaurant along the way! Knowing I was seeking information on my ancestors, he offered advice on where to find official records, based on my family name, and then even introduced me to a local woman who may be related to my great-great grandmother. Ted broke up the drive with opportunities to get out and walk and climb through gorgeous scenic locations, many off the main Ring of Kerry road. I have pictures that are breathtaking and will always think of Ted when I look at them! Thank you, Ted, you are a perfect representative for Ireland and its people🍀!
<p>The tour was great-- our guide, William Fleming, was friendly and very knowledgeable! We learned a lot and saw the most amazing sites and views. We had plenty of time to get out and walk around and enjoy the different sites-- we did everything!</p>
