100% PRIVÉTOER met vertrek vanuit Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (maximaal 4 personen). Er gaat niemand anders mee op excursie. Ontsnap in 1 dag aan Las Palmas en ontdek de duinen en bergen van Gran Canaria. Je bezoekt 3 typische dorpjes (waarvan er een op de lijst van mooiste dorpjes van Spanje staat), 2 prachtige kerken en 5 schitterende uitzichtpunten, waaronder het hoogste punt van Gran Canaria. Als je voor ons kiest, neem je de tijd en ontdek je de diversiteit van de landschappen en het lokale erfgoed, de geschiedenis, cultuur en gastronomie. Geen onnodige commerciële stops. We zijn al vele jaren gevestigd op het eiland Gran Canaria en zijn gepassioneerd over het bezoeken van elke hoek van ons prachtige eiland. We kunnen niet wachten om je alle wonderen te laten zien die verborgen liggen op ons "continent in het klein".

Reisroute
9.00 uur: Vertrek naar het zuiden van het eiland om de prachtige duinen van Playa Del Ingles te bekijken. We stoppen bij een prachtig uitkijkpunt bij het Riu Palace hotel. Het duinsysteem van Maspalomas is een unieke wildernis op de Canarische Eilanden, dankzij de schoonheid en de diversiteit van de ecosystemen. De 400 hectare, beschermd door de regering van de Canarische Eilanden als natuurreservaat van bijzondere waarde, omvatten een fantastisch strand, een dynamisch duinsysteem, een palmenbos en een brakke lagune. Deze mix van woestijn en oase ligt op het zuidelijke puntje van Gran Canaria en wordt omringd door de beroemde badplaats Maspalomas.
Vertrek naar een uitkijkpunt (Mirador in het Spaans) vanwaar je een spectaculair uitzicht hebt op Playa Del Ingles, de duinen en vuurtoren aan de ene kant en het prachtige Fataga ravijn aan de andere kant.
Vertrek naar Fataga. Dit vredige dorpje hoog in een vallei bestaat uit kleine, goed bewaard gebleven witte huisjes en smalle, bloemrijke straatjes. Het wordt omringd door ravijnen, pijnbomen en een uitgestrekt en uniek palmbos. Stop bij Fataga voor een korte wandeling door het dorp.
Route naar het dorp San Bartolome de Tirajana op 890 meter hoogte. We bezoeken de dorpskerk, ingewijd in 1922.
De route gaat verder naar het kleine dorpje Tejeda, dat is uitgeroepen tot een van de mooiste dorpen van Spanje. Wandel door het dorp en bezoek de kerk uit 1921. Lunch in een typisch restaurant met lokale tapas (maaltijd niet inbegrepen in de prijs van de excursie).
We nemen dan de weg naar Cruz de Tejeda, vanwaar we (als het niet te bewolkt is) een prachtig uitzicht hebben op Tenerife en de vulkaan El Teide, de hoogste top van Spanje (3715 meter). Cruz de Tejeda markeert het geografische centrum van het eiland. Stop om foto's te maken en het landschap te bewonderen.
Daarna gaan we op weg naar Pico de las Nieves, het hoogste punt van Gran Canaria. Om de essentie van een plek te waarderen en de sfeer op te snuiven, gaat er niets boven naar het hoogste punt gaan. Op Gran Canaria is dit het uitkijkpunt van de Pico de las Nieves, midden op het eiland. Op een hoogte van 1.949 meter heb je op een heldere dag een adembenemend uitzicht op het Unesco Biosfeerreservaat, met zijn ontelbare diepe valleien en grillige bergkammen, gehuld in vegetatie en bekroond met spectaculaire rotsen.
We nemen dan de weg naar het noorden van Gran Canaria en stoppen bij het uitkijkpunt "Caldera de Los Marteles". Deze krater (Caldera) is ontstaan door een vulkaanuitbarsting in contact met ondergronds water en is ongeveer 80 m diep en heeft een diameter van 550 m. Als het niet bewolkt is, kun je ook genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Dan is het tijd om terug te keren naar je hotel om deze tour rond 18.00 - 18.30 uur te beëindigen.

We experienced a wonderful trip from Playa del Inglés to Las Palmas and are absolutely thrilled! Our tour guide Fabienne led us through the city with a lot of heart, humor and enormous expertise. We explored the beautiful old town, went for a relaxing walk on Las Canteras beach and even stayed in a rooftop bar with fantastic views over the beach...a real highlight! We particularly liked that Fabienne has led us off the typical tourist trails. You immediately notice how well he knows and how much he likes to share his knowledge of Gran Canaria. Everything became understandable, exciting and explained with many small insider stories. To top it off, we went to a typical Canarian restaurant in a mountain village, authentic, cosy and incredibly delicious. Another big plus: Fabienne took many beautiful photos of us during the tour and sent them to us all the next day – a great service and a lasting memory of that day. Clear and unqualified recommendation! If you really want to get to know Gran Canaria, this tour is the right place for you. We would definitely book again!

Superb excursion Agüimes, Guayadeque, Tufia and Bandama, very different villages and landscapes in the same day. Historical discovery of the island and its first inhabitants. Discovery of the crater. Fabien is a wonderful guide who allows us to discover Gran Canaria Island by leaving the tourist mass and the international complexes without charm. He introduces us to the real Canaria and its culture. Second excursion made with him and I hope not the last.

In May 2024, I had the opportunity to make an excursion to Teror, Firgas Arucas and Agaete with Fabien with complete satisfaction. Back in Gran Canaria, of course, we called on his services again. This time we opted for a visit to the Dunes and Mountains. What a contrast! Departure from Las Palmas in the morning by the motorway to the south to arrive at the viewpoint of the Maspalomas Dunes then an ascent to the mountains with breathtaking scenery. Many stops to allow us to visit, take pictures and a fabulous typical lunch, not at all expensive in the village of Tejeda. Return via a “Caldera” (a crater). It was wonderful weather and back at our hotel in Las Palmas we once again felt like leaving a long-time friend. Paul and Annick.
