Reizen met de auto naar de fjorden van West-Noorwegen is een van de beste manieren om van de Noorse natuur te genieten en de schoonheid van de fjorden en watervallen in een korte tijd te waarderen. De reis is de hele dag ontworpen en vertrekt vroeg in de ochtend vanuit Oslo en laat in de nacht. Overdag neemt u met de trein deel uit van Bergen Railway van Geilo naar Myrdal, daarna gaat u aan boord van de wereldberoemde Flam Railway en vaart u langs de twee takken van de langste en diepste fjorden van Noorwegen - Sognefjord. Een van hen, Nærøyfjord, werd in 2005 opgenomen op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Je zult ook in staat zijn om een van de aantrekkelijkste hooggelegen spoorlijnen ter wereld te passeren - Flåm - of genieten van het indrukwekkende uitzicht op het uitzichtpunt van het hotel in Stalheim. Uw privégids haalt u met de auto op bij uw hotel en u begint uw reis naar de mooiste fjord van Noorwegen: de Sognefjord. Tijdens de lange autorit heeft u verschillende stops voor foto's, toilet en eten indien nodig. (ongeveer 4,5 uur)
Aangekomen in Gudvange, kunt u genieten van de schilderachtige sfeer van de Naraefjord - het mooiste deel van de Sognefjord, en lunchen (niet inbegrepen) in een Viking-café naast het Vikingdorp.
Reizigers zullen de 2 uur durende fjordcruise nemen op Sognefjord
Na uw aankomst in Flam heeft u een korte tijd voor souvenirs en winkels, waarna uw gids u naar Flamsbana leidt om te genieten van de mooiste Noorse spoorlijn.
Reizigers arriveren met de wereldberoemde Flam Railway-trein naar Myrdal en stappen over op Geilo.

It was wonderful. Janis, our driver was great. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. It was a very long day but he made the excursion a pleasure. The scenery was breathtaking and worth all the time and expense. Flam railway was so beautiful. This was probably the best trip we took in Norway.

This is a very well constructed tour, and is probably the only way you can experience a real Fjord if you are only in Oslo for a few days. However, it is a lot of travel and, if like us, you get a bit of an overcast day then you may feel 15 hours is a bit too much effort. But I would say if you get a real postcard day then it is probably well worth the effort. The drive with the guide is good, we had Reinnes who was very interesting and knowledgeable, and we stopped a few times to stretch our legs, go to the toilet and see some good sights. The Fjord Cruise is spectacular and the first train journey is very special. The second train journey is very long and after the first hour is a little bit humdrum so take some entertainment!! Overall glad we did it but it is a long day!
Long day but paced nicely to see beautiful Norway in a condensed timeframe. So many tunnels and amazing waterfalls.
Trip was spectacular. Beautiful sites from car, train, and boat. The fjords are incredible. However, what really made our trip special was our host, Aleckss. His flexibility and thoughtfulness, were wonderful. He went out of his way to show us the less traveled routes to reveal Norways natural beauty in a way we would have never seen on our own. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and easy to talk to, making a long day feel relaxed and enjoyable. He made sure everyone was comfortable, gave great local recommendations, and created a perfect balance of structure and spontaneity.
We read that you could not visit the good fjords from Oslo. This full-day trip allows you to visit them. It is a lot of driving; however, it is worth it. The two fjords we visited on the boat ride and the train ride were truly amazing. It is some of the most beautiful scenery on earth.
If there was 10 star I would put. Alex was incredible, came punctual to pick me up with a comfortable car, went through all the schedule on time as well and returned me safe to my hotel. He was polite, helpful, explained many things I didn’t know about and most importantly as I was alone kept me from being bored all these hrs. The views from Flam train were just amazing same the cruise in the Fjords. I changed my ticket to leave a day earlier as I wasn’t much into Oslo but this last day made me change my impression of Norway. A definitely must seen!! Thank you also to Elena who was helpful in arranging that for me. I am very happy over all.
For two with limited time the package delivered. Aleks the driver was great and new some additional spots on the drive for photos and leg stretches Only negative was the Flåm rail overcrowding which made the experience somewhat less than enjoyable Penalty for summer over winter
