we halen je op van het hotel om te beginnen bij de Vallei der Koningen, de pracht van de grootsheid van de architectuur die werd gebruikt voor de begrafenis. Er zijn veel koningen Tutmosis l, Tutmosis lll, Tut Ankh Amon, King Ramssess
Onderweg naar de Westelijke Jordaanoever kun je zien. De dubbele beelden stellen Amenhotep III (fl. 14e eeuw v.Chr.) voor in een zittende positie, zijn handen rustend op zijn knieën en zijn blik naar het oosten gericht (eigenlijk OZO in moderne richting) naar de rivier. Twee kortere figuren zijn naast zijn benen in de voorste troon uitgehouwen: dit zijn zijn vrouw Tiye en moeder Mutemwiya. De zijpanelen tonen de Nijl go
na het bezoek aan de Vallei der Koningen kun je de dodentempel van Hatshepsut zien, ook bekend als de Djeser-Djeseru (Oud-Egyptisch: ḏsr ḏsrw "Heilige der Heiligen"), een dodentempel van het oude Egypte in Opper-Egypte. Gebouwd voor de achttiende dynastie, farao Hatshepsut, die stierf in 1458 voor Christus, bevindt de tempel zich onder de kliffen bij Deir el-Bahari op de westelijke oever van de Nijl in de buurt van de Vallei der Koningen. Deze dodentempel is gewijd aan Amon en Hatsjepsoet en ligt naast de dodentempel van Mentoehotep II, die zowel als inspiratiebron en later als steengroeve diende. Het wordt beschouwd als een van de "onvergelijkbare monumenten van het oude Egypte." [1]
Een beroemd aspect van Karnak is de Grote Hypostyle Zaal in het district Amun-Re, een zaaloppervlak van 5.000 m² met 134 massieve kolommen die in 16 rijen zijn gerangschikt. Honderdtweeëntwintig van deze kolommen zijn 10 meter (33 voet), en de andere 12 zijn 21 meter (69 voet) lang met een diameter van meer dan 3 meter (9,8 voet). De architraven bovenop deze kolommen wegen naar schatting 70 ton. Mogelijk zijn deze architraven met hefbomen naar deze hoogten getild. Dit zou een uiterst tijdrovend proces zijn en zou ook een grote balans vereisen om tot zulke grote hoogten te komen.

While the guide is very knowledgeable & the tour itself was good, be aware of the actual costs for tickets and that they will try to scam you. As tickets arent included, the guide bought the tickets for us ‘to skip the queue’ when we got to each place to pay them back later. When we got to valley of the kings, the guide told us that to enter the tombs of Tutankhamun & Ramses VI it is USD$50 extra per person. We agreed to go into the tombs, but felt it was a lot so looked up the fees and it is not even $18 each to enter both tombs. They also took us to a shop in between locations where we were pressured into buying goods, and THEN told we must pay the guide back in cash for the tickets and had to use an ATM at the shop to get cash to give to them. When we questioned the cost of the tickets the only explanation was that they had to wait for us as guides aren’t allowed in the tombs (spent less than 10 mins in each tomb). We would be happy to pay a few extra USD for their time if they were upfront about the cost, however not $64 - especially since they will expect a tip on top.
At the end of the day I paid tip. It was 40%, so I thought it was good. I didn’t expect that the driver was angry for such amount. But he seemed confused and called Viator. Later he sent me some fine print saying I should have paid additional for the airport pickup. I didn’t notice such fine prints and he didn’t mention earlier. Anyway, fortunately I don’t owe him anything as the tip can cover whatever additional cost. But, every experience in Egypt was like this. You need to be really positive to feel good. Don’t come.
Such amazing time we did spend in our trip at Luxor City, we had really great tour guide given a good information about the Egyptian history Mohamed was fantastic and knowledgeable and very smart . We hardly recommended this tour to everyone

We had a great day visit the tomb's of Valley of the Nobel's in west bank , we did seen 6 Tomb's form the best there, we liked so much the Tomp of the grapes, the colours is so strong and very beautiful
