Het Gizeh-piramidecomplex, ook wel de Necropolis van Gizeh genoemd, is de locatie op het Gizeh-plateau in Groot-Caïro, Egypte, dat de Grote Piramide van Gizeh, de Piramide van Chefren en de Piramide van Menkaure omvat, samen met de bijbehorende piramidecomplexen en de Grote Sfinx van Gizeh. De Grote Sfinx van Gizeh, gewoonlijk de Sfinx van Gizeh of gewoon de Sfinx genoemd, is een kalkstenen beeld van een liggende sfinx, een mythisch wezen. Het staat direct van west naar oost en staat op het plateau van Gizeh op de westelijke oever van de Nijl in Gizeh, Egypte. Het gezicht van de Sfinx lijkt de farao Khafre te vertegenwoordigen. Het is het oudst bekende monumentale beeldhouwwerk in Egypte en een van de meest herkenbare beelden ter wereld. Het archeologische bewijs suggereert dat het werd gemaakt door oude Egyptenaren van het Oude Rijk tijdens het bewind van Khafre (c. 2558-2532 v.Chr.).
Het Museum van Egyptische Oudheden, algemeen bekend als het Egyptisch Museum of Museum van Caïro, in Caïro, Egypte, herbergt een uitgebreide collectie oude Egyptische oudheden. Het heeft 120.000 items, met een representatieve hoeveelheid tentoongesteld en de rest in magazijnen. Gebouwd in 1901 door het Italiaanse bouwbedrijf Garozzo-Zaffarani, naar een ontwerp van de Franse architect Marcel Dourgnon, is het gebouw een van de grootste musea in de regio. Khan el-Khalili is een beroemde bazaar en souq (of souk) in het historische centrum van Caïro, Egypte. Gevestigd als handelscentrum in het Mamluk-tijdperk en vernoemd naar een van de verschillende historische karavanserais, is het bazaardistrict sindsdien een van de belangrijkste attracties van Caïro geworden voor zowel toeristen als Egyptenaren. Het is ook de thuisbasis van vele Egyptische ambachtslieden en workshops die betrokken zijn bij de productie van traditionele ambachten en souvenirs.

This was an amazing tour. We got a chance to go see that Pyramids as well as museums. We wouldn't know what to do if we didn't have our tour guide. Our tour guide arranged other tours with us as well here in Cairo and Luxor. They cared much about us doing our stay. Mohamed was our first tour guide and he was a lifesaver. He was so personable and relatable. He made sure our experience was wonderful. He introduced us to Maner, another guide because he had another tour the next day. She was just as amazing as he was. Moe was knowledgeable and the experience was like being shown around by a friend not a company agent.
