Met maar liefst 18 jaar ervaring en een langdurige samenwerking met enkele van de grootste hotels in Athene (Hotel Grande Bretagne, Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel, Hilton Athens Hotel et al.) We betreden het terrein via de Propylaea, wat letterlijk ‘poort’ betekent. Terwijl je op de Akropolis bent, kun je wereldberoemde plekken bezoeken zoals de Tempel van Athena Nike, het Erectheion met zijn beroemde ondersteunende kolommen in de vorm van gedrapeerde maagden (de kariatiden), en tenslotte een van de beroemdste tempels in de menselijke geschiedenis, het Parthenon zelf.
De Tempel van de Olympische Zeus, ook bekend als het Olympieion of de Kolommen van de Olympische Zeus, is een voormalige kolossale tempel in het centrum van de Griekse hoofdstad Athene. Het was opgedragen aan de "Olympische" Zeus, een naam die voortkwam uit zijn positie als hoofd van de Olympische goden.
Het Panatheense Stadion of Kallimarmaro is een multifunctioneel stadion in Athene, Griekenland. Het is een van de belangrijkste historische bezienswaardigheden van Athene en het enige stadion ter wereld dat volledig uit marmer is gebouwd
De berg Lycabettus, ook bekend als Lycabettos, Lykabettos of Lykavittos, is een kalkstenen heuvel uit het Krijt in de Griekse hoofdstad Athene. Op 277 meter boven de zeespiegel is de top het hoogste punt in Centraal-Athene en dennenbomen bedekken de basis
Het Graf van de Onbekende Soldaat is een oorlogsmonument op het Syntagma-plein in Athene, tegenover het oude koninklijke paleis. Het is een cenotaaf gewijd aan de Griekse soldaten die tijdens de oorlog zijn omgekomen. Het werd tussen 1930 en 1932 gebeeldhouwd door beeldhouwer Fokion Rok. Het graf wordt bewaakt door de Evzones van de presidentiële garde.

Our private tour of Athens was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece! From the moment we started, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city’s rich history. Walking through the Acropolis was an unforgettable experience. Seeing the Parthenon and the other ancient temples in person was truly breathtaking. Our guide shared fascinating stories about ancient Greek civilization, mythology, and the significance of each structure, bringing thousands of years of history to life. The tour was well organized, never felt rushed, and gave us plenty of time to take in the sights and ask questions. If you’re visiting Athens, I can’t recommend a private tour enough. It’s the best way to experience the city’s incredible history, architecture, and culture. It was truly an unforgettable day!

Tassos was a fantastic tour guide! He was so nice, knowledgeable, prompt, and considerate. It was hot so he kept us full of water and gave us an umbrella for shade. He drove us to a wonderful restaurant for Lunch. Mostly, he filled us with the history of Athens. Book! You won’t regret it!

I was on a 26 day , 2 cruise adventure with 3 days at the end in Athens . By far , Lambros Petropoulos , the owner, provided the small group with an amazing authentic experience with all the places we wanted to visit and more . We had a person with special needs, and with Lambros’ knowledge with having grown up in Athens , it was so smooth and very enjoyable. With his knowledge of the local restaurants , bakeries , stores, and knowledge of history with the “must sees”, it couldn’t have been more perfect. He treats you like family , listens well to your goals, and knows people so gets you in places with beautiful views and the best food! His sense of humor and warm personality , had us booking 3 days with him ending our trip on such a high note , we didn’t want to leave. Don’t think twice .. worth every penny. When he knows what you want to shop for , he also guides you to stores without wasting time . Just perfection. Definitely the best guide and we went to various cities in Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, etc. Let him make your trip amazing .

Did the wine country tour and basically everywhere else .Lambrose was a fabulous guide very very knowledgeable and takes great pride in his country and family history. We had a wonderful time seeing the sites and other part of Greece. He taylored the tour to our liking, comfortable car and good driving skills. One of our favorite activities while we were there on our trip. I'm a bit remiss as I thought I had reviewed this right away but the site is telling me otherwise...I would give five star review 10 times if it would let me ..

Lambros was very helpful, taking us around the city during our available time, paying great attention to detail.
