Als je Plymouth Rock altijd al wilde zien, kun je deze 4 uur durende tour van de bucketlist afvinken. Het past perfect in een stedentrip naar Boston zonder dat het te veel tijd in beslag neemt in de stad.
We halen op in het centrum van Boston en reizen 50 minuten rechtstreeks naar Plymouth. Daar doen we een wandeltocht door de stad, waarin we uitleggen waarom de Pelgrims hier aan land kwamen en hoe ze zich in het gebied vestigden.
Ga aan boord van de Mayflower II (seizoensgebonden) om zelf te zien hoe verschrikkelijk hun reis moet zijn geweest en stop bij het monument voor de legende van de rots.
Korte stop bij een indrukwekkend monument, gebouwd ter ere van de Pilgrims en dan terug naar Boston.
Boston ligt op 50 minuten rijden van Plymouth, dus je zult een stuk tijd in de auto zitten tijdens deze tour. Je hebt ongeveer 2 uur de tijd in Plymouth.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed in your tour.
After speaking to your guide, it seems he may have misunderstood your degree of interest in history.
He took from that conversation that history was not something you were especially interested in. As this tour is focused on the Pilgrims' journey and history of their settlement in Plymouth he was concerned it may not be of particular interest to you.
He thought you were in agreement with the suggestion of the alternate route letting you experience some of the coastline and towns that are unique to the area. As you had your camera with you, he thought you'd enjoy taking photos of the ocean views, coastline, beach and lighthouse.
Apologies for this misunderstanding, from what you've written it seems you would have preferred him to keep with the itinerary and focus on Pilgrim history and related sites. Please get back in touch as we would like to offer you a complimentary Pilgrim history tour the next time you are in Boston.

Early beginnings of America
This was a private tour with Martin. We really enjoyed all the facts and info he shared. Despite a downpour of rain all day, we got to see everything. The Mayflower was heartfelt at what they went thru on this long journey. Great tour

Plymouth half day tour
Martin, our tour guide, did a great job. He sent a reminder text the day before. He was very flexible on our pick up & drop off locations. He arrived on time. Martin was knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts along the drive & tour. We would high recommend taking a tour with Martin.

Just ask for Martin!
Martin picked us up from our hotel exactly on time and was just delightful. It was a trip to remember! The conversation was lively and his knowledge was amazing. We enjoyed seeing Quincy and the historical relevance it brings to this country’s independence. Plymouth is a must see for anyone looking to understand how challenging the conditions were for these people seeking a safe haven back in 1620. We are the proud benefactors of such tenacious forefathers!

A Memorable Experience
Martin, our driver, was a gem. He doesn't just provide a ride from Point A to B. You'll receive a history lesson and mini stops along the way to see very interesting out-of-the-way sites. And, inquire of him the best restaurants in Boston's Little Italy. We call on him again. Thank you, Martin.
