Ontdek de wonderen van Reykjavik of ga naar iconische locaties zoals de Blue Lagoon of het schiereiland Reykjanes. De tour begint op de luchthaven/scheepsterminal! Onze deskundige gids haalt u rechtstreeks op van de dichtstbijzijnde beschikbare locatie. Houd uw telefoon ingeschakeld om een vlot vertrek te garanderen. Bewaar uw telefoon
We reizen van het vliegveld naar Reykjavik en genieten van de schilderachtige route. Houd er rekening mee dat als u wordt opgehaald in Keflavik, de gids 1 uur van de tour gebruikt om naar de luchthaven te reizen.
Houd er rekening mee dat dit allemaal slechts voorbeelden zijn - we zullen de tour aanpassen aan uw interesses :) Eerst bezoeken we de prachtige concertzaal Harpa, een van de iconische gebouwen van Reykjavik. Deze prachtige glazen structuur is een must-see voor architectuurliefhebbers en muziekliefhebbers. Je deskundige gids deelt fascinerende inzichten in het ontwerp en de culturele betekenis ervan.
Vervolgens gaan we naar het beeldhouwwerk The Sunvoyager, een verbluffend en tot nadenken stemmend kunstwerk dat de eindeloze mogelijkheden van menselijke verkenning symboliseert. Dit prachtige beeldhouwwerk bevindt zich aan de waterkant van Reykjavik en biedt een perfecte gelegenheid voor prachtige foto's.
Vervolgens gaan we naar de torenhoge Hallgrimskirkja-kerk, een van de meest herkenbare bezienswaardigheden van Reykjavik. Je krijgt de kans om de unieke architectuur van de kerk te verkennen, naar de top van de toren te klimmen voor een panoramisch uitzicht over de stad en meer te weten te komen over de fascinerende geschiedenis ervan.
Onze tour gaat verder naar de charmante Grótta-vuurtoren, gelegen op het meest westelijke punt van het schiereiland Reykjavik. Hier krijgt u de kans om te genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan en onderweg misschien zelfs wat dieren in het wild te spotten.
Ten slotte bezoeken we het indrukwekkende Perlan, een futuristisch museum en observatiedek gebouwd op geothermische watertanks. Vanaf hier kunt u genieten van een 360 graden uitzicht over de stad en meer te weten komen over de unieke geologie en natuurlijke historie van IJsland.

Our guide Asgeir was excellent. He showed us all around Reykjavík and the Reykjanes Peninsula and was extremely informative and pleasant. All 4 of us really enjoyed our tour.
Was able to book last minute as I needed activity time between after disembarking from the cruise and our flight. Right on time and flexible and made recommendations for city sights in the time that we had.

Adjusted to our needs and suggestions. He went out of his way to take us to a delightful restaurant. The high light of seeing the resent volcano and letting us spend time at the church. He returned on time after letting us off a.t the church and Reykjavik shops.
Sven-Bjorn ("Bo") showed us parts of Iceland we had never imagined: charming neighborhoods and gardens, volcanic landscapes and towns, incredible cliffs and oceanside walks. He was so knowledgeable, pointing out stories, facts, and pop culture trivia as we went. We had no idea there was so much to see just a few miles from the airport. Driver was friendly and accomodating, no complaints at all. However tour was on the light side because of weather and time of year (January). We got a good tour of the city and they were able to customize to see what we wanted. Would have been better if the weather was more agreeable, and because of weather seemed a bit pricey. That's out of their control of course. Was nicer in the warm van than the many walking tours we passed.

We had an amazing tour with Einar, so knowledgeable and easy to get along with. We got to see Reykjavik but also learned the history behind it. The highlight was when we visited a church and Einar was talking about a particular hymn and then actually sung it, beautiful voice. Really enjoyed.

I'm so glad we found this option because it's way better than what we were seeing on Viator and similar sites. Oli was wonderful and it made for a great start to our Iceland layover vacation. We got the airport pickup we need to not have any hassles with all of our luggage, and to make every minute count for our brief time, and to try to stay awake after flying overnight and needing to get adjusted to the time zone. We were met promptly and got help with the luggage, and very friendly guidance around the Reykanes peninsula -- hitting tons of sites and spending just the right amount of time to keep us and the kids (14 & 10) engaged and a bit enlightened.
