Privétour van 2 dagen naar de Gouden Tempel en Amritsar vanuit Delhi met de trein

We went on the tour by train from Delhi we were collected promptly from our hotel and taken to the station. All meals were included. We were collected in Amritsar by John Gill who was an excellent and informative guide. We were taken to our hotel to freshen up the hotel was of a high standard. Lunch was at the yellow chilli and the food was delicious, we then went to the flag waving ceremony at the border which was well worth a visit. In the evening we did an evening tour of the Golden Temple which was a wonderful experience. The following day we went to the Memorial Gardens and another visit to the Golden Temple and visited the kitchens and dining areas I would like to thank John and the company for a memorable and wonderful time thank you

Fantastic tour! Helpful and very well informed guide, train tickets sorted without any hassle, comfy travel too. Absolutely reccommend to anyone with only a couple days to see the highlights of amritsar. Hotel was great quality, drivers were great, all round exceeded expectations!!!

<p>We were met in Delhi and escort onto the train. We were given full details of who would be meeting us in Amritsar, including the guides phone number and car registration number. Our photograph was taken and passed to the guide so he could recognise us. All very reassuring. The trip went like clockwork. We were met, taken to our hotel, which was lovely, for a quick freshen up before going to the border ceremony. This was fantastic. A brilliant spectacle. We returned to the hotel for dinner and then off to the Golden Temple. Magnificent! Next morning a tour of Amritsa. It is truly a beautiful city. At 4 oclock we were escorted back to the station. Our train was on time but held up for 15 minutes outside Delhi station. No problem our guide was waiting as we left the carriage to drive us to our overnight accommodation. <br/> I would and already have recommended this tour to several friends staying in Goa. I will definitely be using this company for our next trips in India. They made life very easy. Thank you.</p>

<p>What an amazing trip! From start to finish the organisation was excellent. The pick up from the hotel was on time and we were taken to our seats on the train. The on board food supplied was of a good standard with free water. The guide Mr Goldy met us and we were taken to the India Pakistan border for the nightly ceremony of the flags being raised and lowered. Such a spectacle! 15000 people cheering for India in a well choreographed show. The Holy Book Ceremony at the Golden Temple in the evening was interesting to see. It was very crowded as we were there on the birthday of the founder of the Sikh religion. Mr Goldy made sure we did not get lost and found us good spots to see the proceedings. Touring the Golden Temple the next morning was humbling experience. Around 1500 meals are served at the Temple daily to all who want to eat. All are seated on the ground as one so no-one is above in status. The food is free and all administered by volunteers who are there 24/7 showing kindness and care for all. We spent a long time at the Temple sitting and drinking in the atmosphere of peace and tranquillity before the visit to the Jallianwala Bagh Memorial. We chose to take lunch at our hotel and freshen up before the 6 hour return train journey which was due to arrive at 2305 into Delhi but arrived nearly am hour late as had the outward journey. Sunil was there to collect us and return us to the hotel even though it was so late. <br/> This was an excellent trip.</p>
