Vanaf hier zullen we een geweldig panorama zien naar de stad Angra do Heroismo
Een korte stop hier om wat feiten over ilhéu das Cabras te leren.
De oudste kerk op het eiland met binnen fresco's.
Een van de mooiste landschappen op de Azoren.
Een doorgang door Praia da Vitoria en een stop bij een van de uitkijkpunten over de stad.
Stop om de natuurlijke poelen van deze zeer mooie plaats te zien.
Hier zullen we een korte wandeling maken om de fumarolen te zien.
Algar do Carvão is voor onbepaalde tijd gesloten voor onderhoudswerkzaamheden. Zodra deze beschikbaar is zullen wij deze toevoegen aan ons reisschema. In het hoogseizoen moeten de deuren openstaan om ons weer te verwelkomen.

A private tour is the ONLY way to see this beautiful island. The weather is unpredictable and we switched seeing the sights on the fly to be able to get the most out of the tour. Our guide, Antonio S. Is professional, informative, kind and best of all funny. In fact, he is a wealth of knowledge. Great curated tour!
Awesome tour. Everything about the day was great. Educational but interactive and fun. Beautiful island to explore with so much to do and see. Antonio was one of the best guides we have ever had. Would recommend this full day private island tour.
We were there with a cruise ship, were picked up at the port and had us relaxed in the air-conditioned minibus over the island. Antonio is a great guide and explained a lot about the island to us based on a 3D model (English, very easy to understand - even if you are a bit "rusty"). We agreed where our preferences are and watched them combined with his highlights one after the other - incl. walk through a lava tunnel etc. Lunch was served quietly at a typical "kiosk" in a central square in Angra - relaxed and delicious. After 8.5 hours we were back at the port and are happy back on the ship. Thank you, Antonio!
Highly recommend this tour! Antonio, our tour guide, was amazing. We learned so much about the island and its history. Definitely worth every dollar - there is no way we would have seen as much as we did on our own. We have done many other tours in other countries and this was the best! Extremely comfortable and roomy van for the four of us. Antonio was extremely helpful in securing us another tour on Sao Miguel on short notice in the tight window we had for a layover in Ponta Delgada - we are so grateful for his assistance!
We had a wonderful day with Antonio on Terceira!! He totally worked with our ship schedule and picked us up at 8 and had us back by 2:30pm. I had booked for wrong day and he was so accommodating when we both realized that. He showed us Praia and Lages and São Sebastião on the way to Angra do Heroismo. Told us so much about history, life, culture and geology of the island. Answered all questions and engaged in conversation with us. Took us to a nice cafe for lunch. Saw the middle of the island afterwards and then the northside. Antonio is easy to understand and speaks loudly and clearly for someone with hearing issues. Our favorite tour of our trip!!

Antonio was amazing. Our plane was delayed, but he was proactive and met us at the adjusted time. He knows Terceira inside and out and could explain and answer questions about everything from history, environment, and culture with a clear depth of understanding. He was very friendly and adjusted our tour to account for the quickly changing weather. His van was spacious, comfortable, and pristine. We highly recommend this experience it was worth every penny!

Antonio is the best! He is super friendly, knowledgable, kind, thoughtful, funny, personable, and accommodating. You will NOT have a better experience on this island. Skip the touristy stuff from a cruise line and book him. Skip trying to figure it out all on your own and book him! Could not be happier with our day on the island. THANKS YOU!!

We had a fantastic tour of Terceira. Antonio was a great guide and very nice person. He allowed us to go at our own pace and there wasn’t a set schedule. He would make suggestions and we could decide if we were interested or not. I highly recommend this tour.
