Uw Gids haalt u vroeg op bij uw Luxor hotel in een voertuig met airconditioning om uw reis naar de Westelijke Jordaanoever te beginnen. Je eerste stop is de beroemde Vallei der Koningen, waar 63 graven te vinden zijn. Deze koninklijke graven zijn versierd met Egyptische mythologie, die het geloof van die tijd weerspiegelt. Terwijl veel koningen in de vallei begraven liggen, is de bekendste ongetwijfeld koning Toetanchamon.
Vervolg uw reis naar de prachtige Tempel van Koningin Hatshepsut, ook bekend als Deir el-Bahari. Koningin Hatshepsut, wiens naam "Voornaamste van Edele Dames" betekent, zou de eerste handelsroutes hebben aangelegd.
Stop bij de torenhoge tweelingbeelden van Amenhotep III, die na duizenden jaren nog steeds hoog staan en de Thebaanse necropolis bewaken.
Geniet van een heerlijke lunch in een lokaal restaurant met uitzicht op de Nijl, waar u kunt ontspannen. Na de lunch bezoekt u Medinet Habu, een tempel gebouwd in opdracht van koning Ramses III om zijn erfenis na zijn dood te herdenken.
Hierna bezoekt u de overblijfselen van het oude Workmen's Village in Deir el-Medina. Dit dorp was de thuisbasis van de kunstenaars, ambachtslieden en arbeiders die de koninklijke graven in de Vallei der Koningen bouwden en decoreerden.
Vervolgens bezoekt u de prachtige Vallei der Koninginnen, waar het graf van de Grote Koningin Nefertari zich bevindt. De dag eindigt met een bezoek aan de Tombs of the Nobles, die meer dan 400 graven van edelen bevatten. Deze koninklijke graven zijn versierd met cryptische passages uit het Dodenboek, bedoeld om hen door het hiernamaals te leiden. Na deze ongelooflijke bezoeken wordt u teruggebracht naar uw hotel of Nijlcruise in Luxor.

Very good tour guide. Chill but knew her stuff and always gave us enough time to explore. Happy to customise the tour as we did not want to go to the valley of the workers or have lunch. The driver was good, his car was his pride and joy and did well in the congested traffic. Only issue was we selected the 7am tour, however the tour provider thought it was for 8am.

Sweet girl, but she only knew things for the Hatshepsut temple. We were mostly interested in the kings and queens valley and she had really no clue. Furthermore she even wanted to quit the tour earlier than descrived here (after 5.30h instead of 8h). Stay away from this.
Nervien and Ebtesam were great. I enjoyed my tour. 😊 Got to see a lot of interesting ancient Egyptian sites. I would recommend.

Samah was an amazing guide and such a trooper to take us all around in the heat of the day! We were so happy everyone was willing to start the tour early to try and get a jump on the heat. Samah was very knowledgeable and was very impressed my son had planned to not only go to the Valley of the Kings but also Deir-el-medina, Hatshepsut Temple, Tombs of the nobles and Medinet Habu. We had a perfect tour day with Youssef today, during which we got to see: the valley of kings, temple of Hatshepsut, Habu temple, Deir el Medina and valley of queens. Communication for organisation before the tour was very smooth and easy, and a driver was following us the whole time during the day to get to our different visits. Youssef was by far the best guide we could ask for (even other tourists were curious of listening his clear and so interesting explanations). He is a passionate man with a perfect English prononciation, and takes the time like no one else to tell all of Egyptian stories and answer to all questions. He also suggested multiple time to take pictures of us in front of the monuments and left us some free time each time to enjoy the places. We really enjoyed this organisation and were so happy to see that many things, without feeling the tiredness of a long day ! Finally, he made sure at all time that we were having the best experience and that all our desires were accomplished ! We can only recommend this tour journey !

My tour on April 20 was pretty good! I was, let's say, "tombed-out" with all the tombs I got to see, like King Tut's! Such a great experience! I couldn't have asked for anything more!

Excellent guide! He told us interesting stories, is very well prepared, takes advantage of the maps, photos and resources of the place to explain and facilitate understanding. She was watching and asked if everything was clear and was trying to make herself understood.
