Reis naar de piramides, Saqqara en het Serapeum Tijd: 8:00 AM - Vertrek uit Hotel Ontmoeting met de gids De dag begint met verzamelen in het hotel en op weg naar de piramides. Tijd: 9:00 AM - Aankomst bij de Piramides Bezoek de Drie Piramides: Grote Piramide van Khufu: Bezoek de grootste piramide, één van de Zeven Wonderen van de Oude Wereld. Piramide van Khafre: Waaronder de beroemde Sfinx. Piramide van Menkaure: De kleinste van de drie, maar even belangrijk. Tour rond de piramides: U kunt de piramides van dichtbij bezoeken en foto's maken. U kunt er ook voor kiezen om op kamelen of paarden te rijden voor een meer traditionele ervaring.
Transfer naar Saqqara Bezoek de Stappenpiramide van Djoser: De eerste piramide volledig gebouwd uit steen, beschouwd als een van de oudste piramides in Egypte. Verken de omgeving: Saqqara bevat vele graven en tempels uit de oude Egyptische beschaving. Bezoek de graven: U kunt een aantal belangrijke tombes in de omgeving bezoeken, zoals de Tombe van It en de Tombe van Meryt-Ra.
Aankomst bij het SerapeumBezoek het Serapeum: De begraafplaats van de heilige Apisstieren, die als symbool van de Egyptische goden werden beschouwd. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Our guide and driver picked us up from our hotel right on time and we first went to Saqqara. There, we visited the Tomb of Kagemni, with its amazing reliefs, and then the Pyramid of Teti. Everything was explained extremely well by our guide Mohammed, an archaeologist who also speaks excellent Italian. We then visited the Serapeum, which was truly impressive, especially the huge stone sarcophagi inside. After that, we saw the Step Pyramid of Djoser, another unforgettable highlight of the tour. After a refreshing break, we continued to Giza, where we visited the pyramids and the Sphinx. What really made the difference was our guide: Mohammed explained the history, the details of the monuments, and the construction techniques in a very clear and engaging way. Another big plus was the fact that we visited at the end of June, so Saqqara was almost empty. It really felt like a private tour. No queues, not even for the entrance tickets: absolutely top! The only thing to keep in mind is that it is very hot at this time of year, but luckily there was a light breeze throughout the day, so we managed very well. Highly recommended!

The full-day excursion to the Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Serapeum proved to be a globally positive experience, especially thanks to the logistical support provided. The transportation between the various points of interest and the general orientation along the route were fundamental elements to enjoy each moment without additional worries. In this sense, the organization of the tour is clearly worth it. However, we feel that the quality of the follow-up could have been more consistent, especially with regard to the historical content presented. Considering the cultural and archaeological richness of these sites, it would be expected that the guide would demonstrate a deeper knowledge, able to contextualize each monument and offer a more complete and rigorous perspective. The fact that the visit was conducted in Portuguese was a very positive point, facilitating communication and interaction throughout the day. Still, we believe that this linguistic facility could have been better exploited to enrich the experience with more detailed and informative explanations. In short, the tour performs well the logistical function and offers a good introduction to the sites visited, but there is clear room to improve the historical preparation of the guide, in order to provide a truly complete and memorable experience.

The tour guide was wonderful! The only reason that I’m giving it a three star is because we could not understand him!! He seemed to know a lot about what he was talking about. But there was such minimum communication because of his thick Egyptian accent. We speak English. Possibly the tour company did not realize that.
Thank you. with my respect for your opinion .. yes, you are right, but we started our day late ,( 11:30 ) which makes me think about the itinerary schedule .. also Iam Egyptian my native language is arabic .. not : all the government officials close at 4:00 pm for Ramadan time .
