Kinderdijk, een UNESCO-site en de thuisbasis van 19 windmolens, is mogelijk de enige authentieke plek in Nederland, waar je de windmolens kunt verkennen. Na een bezoek aan Kinderdijk heeft u de mogelijkheid om te kiezen uit een van de volgende steden, namelijk Rotterdam, Gouda, Den Haag, Delft en Leiden. Gouda, Delft, Den Haag en Leiden zijn historische steden vol ouderwetse charme. Integendeel: Rotterdam is moderner en hipper. Welke stad u ook kiest, u sluit de dag af met mooie herinneringen.

Wij halen u op in Amsterdam en rijden naar Kinderdijk gelegen in de provincie Zuid-Holland. De rit duurt ongeveer 75 minuten. Kinderdijk is een groep windmolens en gemalen die is ontstaan om het gebied droog te houden. Het gebied waar Kinderdijk ligt ligt onder zeeniveau en om overstromingen te voorkomen is dit systeem ontstaan. Tegenwoordig is Kinderdijk een UNESCO-site, meer bekend om zijn adembenemende uitzichten. Geniet van een bezoek aan de windmolens of maak een boottocht voor het beste uitzicht. Toegangsprijzen zijn bij deze tour inbegrepen.
U heeft de mogelijkheid om Rotterdam, Gouda, Delft, Den Haag of Leiden te bezoeken. Welkom in Rotterdam. De tweede grootste stad van het land. Rotterdam is modern met chique hoogbouw en moderne bruggen. Bezoek de Markthal, de thuisbasis van meer dan 100 eetkraampjes en restaurants, Cubic House, Hotel New York of het Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen. Gouda: Synoniem voor Nederlandse kaas, Gouda is een 750 jaar oude historische stad en is de thuisbasis van de prachtige Sint-Janskerk, het stadhuis, de Goudse Waag, enz. Leiden: Huis van Rembrandt, Ruim 35 hofjes, grachten en talloze monumentale panden. Voordat ze Amerika bereikten, woonden de Pilgrim Fathers in de 17e eeuw in Leiden. Den Haag: Politieke hoofdstad van Nederland en 3e grootste stad. Delft: Een pittoreske stad in Nederland, beroemd om zijn charmante grachten, historische gebouwen en het wereldberoemde Delfts aardewerk. Verken de prachtige Oude en Nieuwe Kerk, of de schilderachtige straatjes en levendige marktpleinen. Rijd terug naar Amsterdam.

He was ready to provide information and answer questions and also step back to allow time for just the two of us (when we wanted). The exclusive tour is perfect for those wishing more free time and space to get around and learn much from the guide. It's an authentic experience of how windmills worked and served to house the families of the millers, and the site is UNESCO heritage for a reason.
The trip was hard because the car was just too small for an 8 hour day for 4 average sized adults. It was a very warm day. The air conditioning did not reach those sitting behind the passenger and drivers seat because the person sitting on the hump in the middle seat had to block the vents. The guide was good and the sights a must see. On this trip we split our sightseeing between Tours by Locals and Viator. Because of this incident and the fact that our dissatisfaction didn’t produce a favorable outcome we will not be booking with Viator again.

The guide was very professional and knowledgeable. The guide arrived at the pickup point 15mins before the meet up time and we were able to start early. We picked Gouda as our city of choice for visit and had a heritage tour around the old town. On the way to Gouda, we also dropped by a local cheese factory where we tasted some of the local produce. This is a highly recommended tour if you want to see the local and the heritage.
Gopi was a great guide and made the travel easy (on Kings Day no less) and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
We travelled to Leiden, the Kinderdijk Windmills, toured a small high-quality cheese factory, and explored the Muiderslot Castle. Our guide drove us in his sedan. He was a very good driver, was knowledgeable regarding the destinations of the tour and the Netherlands generally, and otherwise strove to make the tour informative and enjoyable. For example, we were unable to see the interior of any windmill at Kinderdijk, due to inadequate staffing by the volunteer workers there, that day. After we saw what we could from the outdoors, our guide volunteered to add Muiderslot Castle to the itinerary, at no extra charge. The tour of Muiderslot was entertaining, and rounded out the day nicely.
We enjoyed traveling through the Netherlands’ countryside. The UNESCO World Heritage Site was amazing. Our driver was very knowledgeable and took us to a working cheese farm before acting as tour guide for our stop in Gouda.
