De chauffeur haalt u op bij uw hotel of een andere plek in het centrum van Parijs. U zult genieten van de reis naar Fontainebleau in de eerste plaats met onze attente en professionele chauffeur die u comfortabel langs de route zal nemen. Bij aankomst daar heeft u ongeveer 3 uur de tijd om het kasteel en de tuinen te observeren. Toegangskaarten met audiogids zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen. De chauffeur zal u helpen om ze ter plaatse te activeren. Als u wilt zal de chauffeur u ook een leuke plek om te dineren daar aanbevelen. Na de tour brengt de chauffeur u terug naar uw accommodatie in Parijs. Let op: de persoonlijke gidsservice is niet bij de prijs inbegrepen. Deze service kunnen wij u tegen meerprijs aanbieden.

Een mooie tour naar het kasteel van Fontainebleau ligt ongeveer 60 km ten zuidoosten van Parijs. Hij diende als de residentie van de Franse koningen gedurende zeven eeuwen, van Francois I tot Napoleon III. Veel gekroonde mensen van Europa kwamen hier, waaronder keizer Peter I en paus Pius VII. Hier nam Napoleon afscheid van zijn leger tijdens zijn eerste troonsafstand van de troon, en van daar ging hij naar het eiland Elba. Het kasteel en de tuin staan op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Je hebt de kans om de luxueuze, recent bijgewerkte appartementen van Napoleon III te bezoeken. Optioneel kan de tour worden gecombineerd met een bezoek aan het nabijgelegen kasteel - Voles-Vicomte, die Louis XIV inspireerde om Versailles te bouwen.

Our guide was excellent in her understanding of Fontenbleau and in her ability to communicate to us
Ben was an efficient and assertive driver who got us there safe. We left at 9am, arrived around 10:30. We had until 1pm to tour the grounds. Which was a short amount of time if you want to stroll or rest. It is enough time to check in, wait in lines, go thru the house quickly, stroll the gardens with purpose and we took the 35minute mini train around the property which we highly recommend. If you want to stroll and take your time, have a snack, etc then you might want to ask for a little extra time. Overall, wonderful quick day trip.
Benjamin drove efficiently and safely. He has excellent English skills and is easy going yet has great attention to detail. He was right on time with our hotel pick up and after we toured Fontainebleau. He accompanied us to get us through security and made sure we found our way to pick up the audio tour apparatus.
Everything was as stated with the tour. Benjamin was an excellent driver with great English. Fontainebleau is definitely worth a visit.
From the moment we were picked up to when we reached our final destination, everything was absolutely fantastic.
Just had a lovely 5 hour round trip to Fountainebleu. Benjamin was an excellent driver and so polite. He was very punctual, the car was comfortable and everything went very smoothly indeed. We were picked up from our Paris hotel and had a comfortable ride to Fountainebleu, right to the palace gates. We’d already booked our palace tickets but we could have done that on the day. Fountainebleu was so much more relaxed and pleasant than Versailles, we were able to see rooms without any crowds. A magnificent piece of history even if not quite as grand as Versailles- less Louis XIV influence here - but still awesome and fairly elaborate decoration. And a tour of the gardens as well - fairly simple but good. 3 hours was just right for our visit and Benjamin was waiting for us at the time and place agreed. When we got back Benjamin gave us a nice tin of biscuits, an unexpected surprise. Also to note that Galena was great as well when we made pre booking enquiries- efficient and quick in replying. She also sent us a pay on line link which was much appreciated.
Fountainbleau is as opulent as Versailles and so less crowded. There were times we were the only ones in a room. It was free on the Paris Museum Pass. It was great being picked up at our hotel in a Mercedes van and returned there. Our driver, Brice, was very personable. He played tapes with info of various sites in Paris. We were late getting back to the car, and he was pleasant about it, although we felt bad about it.
This is a fantastic way to tour countryside places. We did a few bus tours but it was getting more & more difficult for my husband to navigate getting on & off the bus and keep up with his artificial joints. The car was very comfortable, lots of leg room, Marcel our driver was extremely helpful and very personable. We had a wonderful audio tour of Chateau Fountainbleu at our own pace. Marcel picked us up at the front gate on time. It was haste free. I would use this company again it’s worth the price.
