Teotihuacán is een magische plek. De geschiedenis wordt gevoeld als men door de Calzada de los Muertos reist en de nauwkeurigheid en majesteit observeert van deze beschaving die tot de oudste in Meso-Amerika behoort. Je bezoekt de piramides van Teotihuacan, bekend als de Stad van de Goden, met een gecertificeerde gids en een privétour.Omdat je toegankelijk bent op het moment van vertrek kun je de eerste uren van de ochtend kiezen om de drukte van toeristen en lange rijen te vermijden, zodat u in de stilte van de ochtend kunt genieten van de pleinen, de muurschilderingen en de majestueuze sfeer. Het is een volledig privétour voor 1 tot 4 personen in een luxe auto, alleen voor jou, waarbij je de verblijfstijden op elke plaats die je bezoekt, kunt aanpassen, evenals de vertrektijd van de tour.

Wij halen jou en je reisgenoten op bij het bij ons aangegeven afhaalpunt. Later gaan we naar de archeologische zone van Teotihuacán (ongeveer 45 minuten transfer). Aangekomen in het Pirámides-gebied, bezoeken we een ambachtswerkplaats, waar we kunnen luisteren naar een korte uitleg over obsidiaansteen en hoe we pulque en tequila kunnen krijgen, en een kleine proeverij van deze drankjes. (optioneel). We zullen verhuizen naar de ‘plaats waar mensen goden worden’ om ons onder te dompelen in de geschiedenis van de Teotihuacaanse beschaving, evenals de reis erdoorheen; de Piramide van de Zon, Calzada de los Muertos, Piramide van de Maan, De tempels van Quetzalcóatl, gevederde vlinders en de Jaguar. Dit alles schat een geschatte tijd van 1 1/2 uur. Naast de tijd van de tour wordt 1 uur gegeven om foto's te maken. We bezoeken een restaurant in de buurt waar we kunnen eten (niet inbegrepen).

Our guide, Sergio, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the topic and explained everything very well. He was very kind to the children, attentive to their concerns, which he addressed.
The operator did not confirm Availability (in covers) or start of business until just hours before, despite writing to the operator on several occasions. After instructing him that under these conditions the activity could only be cancelled given the need to rearrange the day because of the unjustifiable passivity in the response, VIATOR refuses to refund the payment for a tour that did not take place and this despite the fact that the operator states in writing that such reimbursement was appropriate. A real shame in the treatment of the customer that shows to what extent the scarce leisure time and dignity of a tourist in a foreign country is disregarded. This organization deserves no one's trust.
Really great expense learning about the pyramids and the temples. Our tour guide was really friendly. He was very knowledgeable of the area and his car was really nice.
Aldo was wonderful, knowledgeable, and happy to go at our pace. We took our toddler and had a wonderful time. We stopped and tried pulque and learned about local products, saw the three pyramids, and then ate delicious food at a rooftop restaurant Aldo recommended. It was an awesome experience that I recommend to anyone visiting Mexico City
Mr Porfirio was at our hotel on time in a clean, well air-conditioned car. He gave us insightful information during the 60 minute driver to the pyramids. On location, he was very informative, without being overbearing. With a guide, it's all about the little details and Porfirio got it just right. From visiting the excavated village (off the regular tourist path) to waiting while we had lunch at the Groto restaurant, it just worked so smooth. I can recommend his without any hesitation.
Porfidio, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Took us to the pyramids, a local village site, and a tourist destination to explain and buy locally built products. Overall a really great visit to a fascinating place!

Excellent experience of a private tour. Porfirio picked us up at our Airbnb in his clean car, was a super safe driver and provided some info and historical context along the way. He was great with my two kids (10 & 12) providing the perfect amount of information without sounding like a college professor. Additionally, Porfirio made a reservation for us at La Gruta (awesome restaurant experience in a cave), waited for us and then a safe drive back to Mexico City.

Amazing experience!!!! Our host Porfirio is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this private tour. Porfirio picked us up early at our AirBnB, he took us to Teotihuacan and guided us through the pyramids. He knew all so much about this culture and ancient history, that he made the tour even more incredible than it already is! He kindly took us to the Basilica of Guadalupe Virgin and other churches, even though it was not part of the tour. Just amazing.
