De ervaring begint met vertrek vanaf het startpunt om 8:00 uur 's ochtends. Tubing-ervaring bij de La Leona-waterval Tubing bij de La Leona-waterval is een begeleide avontuurlijke ervaring waarmee je op een veilige, leuke en gecontroleerde manier van de rivier kunt genieten in een van de meest indrukwekkende natuurgebieden van Guanacaste. Onder begeleiding van een professionele gids varen reizigers de rivier af, uitgerust met reddingsvesten en de juiste uitrusting, en dalen ze rustig af door kristalhelder water, omgeven door rotsformaties, natuurlijke wanden en weelderige vegetatie. De activiteit is ontworpen om spanning en direct contact met de natuur te combineren, waarbij altijd strikte veiligheidsvoorschriften worden nageleefd. Tijdens de tour passeren de deelnemers rustige stukken en dynamische gedeelten, ideaal om van het landschap te genieten, af te koelen en iets anders te beleven in de natuurlijke kloof die naar de La Leona-waterval leidt. Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Watervalexcursie naar La Leona inclusief tubing en lunch De ophaalservice staat gepland voor 8:00 uur 's ochtends en vindt plaats in de centrale lobby van uw hotel, resort of accommodatie (Airbnb). Wij bieden een ophaalservice aan in de volgende gebieden: Tamarindo, Pinilla, Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Matapalo, Las Catalinas, Playa Hermosa, Playas del Coco, Papagayo en andere nabijgelegen gebieden. Om een efficiënte logistiek te garanderen, moeten reizigers het exacte adres van de ophaallocatie de dag vóór de tour doorgeven. Als u in een hotel of resort verblijft, is het essentieel om ook uw kamernummer door te geven. Zo kunnen onze medewerkers u gemakkelijk vinden bij de receptie aan de hand van uw naam en kamernummer. Aan het einde van de ervaring worden de reizigers teruggebracht naar hetzelfde ophaalpunt. Belangrijke aanbevelingen Als er kinderen in de groep zitten, geef dan vooraf hun leeftijd door. This is an action packed private tour. Maria has excellent communication about the tour and is available for any specific questions. Mario, the driver, was on time and even took us to a local market to purchase water shoes for the tour. Alan, Randall and Freddy, our guides, were amazing and made us feel safe and comfortable all along the way! La Leona is a must see destination for any adventure seeker! We did the hike to La Leona and the tubing down the river. The hike is challenging(not recommended for little kids or anyone with any physical challenges). You will get wet(bathing suit and water shoes recommended) and will be challenged to climb rocks, stairs, jump into the water off rocks, and swim(life jackets are available if needed). The tubing is less strenuous, but there is some walking involved to get to the river. If you are considering this tour, i would highly recommend the private tour. We had a total of 6 people including the guides. We saw groups of 20-30 people! Our family loved every minute of it. Thank you for this awesome adventure in beautiful Costa Rica!

It was an action packed day of tubing down rapids, hiking and swimming in an amazing waterfall, and eating a delicious local lunch at a cafe. Transportation was clean and smooth, and they were very accommodating of our 11 participants (aged 10-69). We got picked up on time at our VRBO in Pinella/Tamarindo, and then driven in a large van with AC to the destination. They even had a birthday cake to celebrate my birthday! Everyone we interacted with was super helpful, nice, and the guides made sure we were safe at all times. The workers made this trip truly amazing and something I would suggest to any adventurous family. Thank you Maria, Mario, Fabrizio, and crew!

This was hands down one of the best tours we did while in Costa Rica. Our guide, Imanol, made sure that we had fun and took us through a beautiful route to get to the waterfall. He also kept us safe during the river tubbing. I would recommend anyone to take this tour (they have different routes to take you through depending on your abilities). I don't typically leave reviews, but this excursion deserves it! There's 4 person minimum since it's a private activity. We were 2 adults and 1 child (10 y/o) and it seemed to have everything we wanted, so we paid for 4 (child/adult were the same cost). It did not disappoint! Note: If we booked these activities separately it would have cost more AND taken more time during the day, so I can't blast the cost. Pick up at our location - comfy, AC, clean ride with a knowledgable and friendly driver (shout out to Adriana). Only 3 of us with a personal, friendly, fun, in-the-know guide for the waterfall AND tubing (Wayne and Berto for the wins here)! The ability to ask questions, chat about details, pause for fun photos or just a break, and enjoy the ecosystem was amazing - even saw some monkeys, hanging around. The tubing is on class 2 & 3 rapids. Our daughter is 10 and an adventurer - so not necessarily for every 10 year old. Safety was top notch, never once did we feel worried. PFDs for both the waterfall hike & river swim, and tubing also (w/ helmets here of course). Superb choice of meal for lunch in small local resto. No rushing, we did things at mostly our pace. We liked our small group, but you have the option for larger ones. If you go hope you have as great a time as we did.
