We beginnen onze tour bij de beroemde H&H Bagels. Geniet van een versgebakken bagel met roomkaas uit een van de populairste bagelwinkels van New York, die te zien is geweest in populaire tv-shows, waaronder Seinfeld and Friends.
We gaan op reis naar The Comic Strip, een comedyclub met een rijke geschiedenis als de oudste in heel New York City. Deze iconische locatie heeft hier komische royalty's zien optreden, waaronder Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld en Chris Rock.
We gaan naar Agata & Valentina, een iconische Italiaanse speciaalzaak die in 1993 werd geopend en de reputatie heeft verdiend als een van de beste plekken in de buurt om authentiek Italiaans eten te krijgen. Je hebt ruim de tijd om de winkel te verkennen en terwijl we daar zijn, proberen we ook enkele van hun klassieke cannolis, een Italiaans dessert dat je zeker moet proberen.
We dwalen dan over de weg naar Xi'an Famous Foods, waar we wat knoedels zullen verslinden. Dit is een cultklassieker in New York City en ze zullen je leven zeker opfleuren!
Vervolgens brengen we een bezoek aan Madonna's Upper East Side-landhuis ter waarde van $ 32 miljoen. Houd je ogen open, want je weet nooit wanneer je een glimp van de Queen of Pop opvangt.
Onze volgende bestemming is de Lexington Candy Shop, een 98 jaar oud instituut dat bekend staat als een van de laatste plekken in de VS waar je kunt genieten van authentieke eierroom en handgemaakte Coca-Cola.
Geen NYC-foodtour zou compleet zijn zonder een stuk klassieke pizza in NYC-stijl te eten. Ryan gave a great walking and food tour. An Australian in NY and doing a great job!! Showed us new and cool places. Including SATC and Friends houses.
Alex was an amazing tour guide! All of the places she took us were amazing, our family LOVED the dumplings. The walking we did was very doable, even in the July heat. Was very nice to be shown around by a guide, learn a little bit about the restaurants we went to and the surrounding areas. Gave us some great tips and advise for later in our trip as well. We had a great time with Ryan today. It unexpectedly turned into a private tour since my mom and I were the only ones who booked today.
