Tijdens deze 1,5 uur durende tour zul je de kans krijgen om meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis van de Joodse gemeenschap in Barcelona en een deel van zijn verleden bloot te leggen: Hoe was het leven voor de Joodse gemeenschap in Barcelona? Wanneer vestigden zij zich in de stad? Wat werd er van hen?

We zullen dit prachtige plein zien, waar de Catalaanse regering en het stadhuis van Barcelona zijn.
We zullen de oude stad bezoeken tijdens onze tour, waar de Call (Joodse wijk) zich bevindt.

We zullen de Romeinse muur zien terwijl we naar het hart van de oude stad gaan.
We zullen de oude synagoge van Barcelona van buitenaf zien.

It was great to see the remnants of what once a thriving Jewish community. Our tour guide, Jon, was personable, very well prepared, and friendly. Please note that while this tour was not described as a walking tour it was. Lots of hilly narrow streets. If you have a mobility issue this tour is not for you.

Please refund money The guide knew nothing about the topic And the temple was closed. This was the biggest waste of time and money
Dear Kathy, Thank you for sharing this review, It saddens me to learn that the private tour through Jewish Quarter didn't live up to your expectations, The guide informed us that the Synagogue was closed on this day so it was not possible to visit it, the closure had not been advised to our company. She offered you to receive the entrance tickets so you could visit it on the next day or request a partial refund through your booking agency for the Synagogue. Regarding your comments about her performance, I would liek to inform that we have receive numerous positives commentaries about her by other customers doing this same private tour. Sincerely
Very knowledgeable person gave full history of the area. Took into account age and ability of the group and gaged her pace accordingly
First Roger went to wrong hotel. Second he had us walk to Jewish Quarter rather than take included transportation ( my wife uses a walker). Then his knowledge seemed minimal. I do not recommend this tour.

Nicest, most lovely guide ever but not enough of a Jewish imprint to warrant this tour. Or, the price should have been 1/2 what it was as it was barely 90 minutes and only went to one place of significance.Not fault of guide but there is just not enough to see to warrant a tour.

This was extremely disappointing and we found the guide uninformed and antisemitic. I don’t think it is fair to offer this tour unless you have a more sensitive and knowledgeable guide. For what it was it was vastly overpriced

Guide was very nice but really didn’t seem that knowledgeable about the tours subject matter. She seemed a bit unfamiliar with the Jewish quarter layout, etc

Roger was very good with the history, but he was 10 minutes late getting us and was going to leave us at the old synagogue. When we told him we had no idea where we were and how to get back to the hotel, he took us to a square and said “your hotel is right over there.” We wondered around for half an hour before we found our way back. Turned out he was correct. We turned the wrong direction. He should have been more sensitive to our expressing that we were not oriented. I don’t care where the tour is scheduled to end. You don’t leave too old people who are disoriented on a very hot day. We were so close to the hotel. He could have taken the 5 minutes to walk us back. Since he was late, he really owed us the time!

Excellent Guide. Daniel made the tour memorable for my wife and me. We loved his personal stories and how he related these stories to the historic Jewish Community. He was so patient and careful with us as we climbed the stairs and maneuvered around the winding streets. Very impressive tour and very impressive guide, In our 50 years plus travels in Europe and Asia. thjs tour ranks in the top of the list. It helped make the historic Jewish section as well as the city of Lisbon come alive in so many ways. We wish Daniel could lead tours for us in other cities and in other major attractions.
