Privérondleiding om de zogenaamde "witte stad" te ontdekken. Het bezoek geeft je de mogelijkheid om een van de meest karakteristieke historische centra van Puglia te verkennen en meer te weten te komen over de oude oorsprong ervan, begeleid door een gekwalificeerde toeristische gids.

Rondleiding om het witte stadje Ostuni te ontdekken, met een prachtig uitzicht op de uitgestrektheid van olijfbomen en de Adriatische kust. De tour begint bij Via Cattedrale om enkele van de belangrijkste statige paleizen en kleine pleinen van de oude stad te bewonderen. Voordat je de kathedraal bereikt, stop je even buiten bij het Archeologisch Museum van Ostuni om meer te weten te komen over het ontstaan van de stad. Bezoek de Basiliek van Santa Maria Assunta, een interessant voorbeeld van laat Apulische gotiek, doordrenkt van religieuze symboliek. Kijk uit over de panoramische terrassen en wandel langs de nog bestaande stadsmuren. We eindigen ons bezoek op Piazza della Libertà waar we de kerk van Sint Franciscus van Assisi, het stadhuis en de torenspits van Sint Oronzo, een van de beschermheiligen van Ostuni, vinden. De tour is privé, maar eventuele wijzigingen moeten van tevoren met de gids worden afgesproken, net als vertragingen. Hartelijk dank.

We did not know this when booking, but my wife and I had her all to our selves. I gather she usually works with small groups - ehich is their good fortune. Recommend.

We were disappointed. Shorter than expected and not very informative. Maybe there isn’t much to know about Ostuni?
I feel sorry that the tour has been disappointing for you, Jim and Sue. Honestly, that's the first time some tourists complain about a not enough informative tour and if you read the reviews you can realize it. You could have asked me whatever you wanted, if you considered the information not enough, you've just asked me about the food. The tour is usually 1 hour and half, it's been a little bit shorter because the Cathedral is closed for renovation works, therefore we were not able to get in. It's been 10-15 minutes shorter, but the itinerary is always the same, we have seen all the attractions described on the website. Then the price?! First, you've booked a private tour... Then, let me say that behind a 1 hour and half tour, there's months and months of researches, in-depth studies, reading historical documents and books, on-site inspections in order to choose the best itinerary, continuing education... By the way, that's your opinion, duly noted.
