Bezoek beide oude steden van Ayutthaya en Lopburi met tal van bezienswaardigheden die de rijke en levendige geschiedenis van Thailand opbouwen. Deze lunch is inclusief excursie met een comfortabel voertuig met airconditioning. Deze oude steden vormen de bakermat van de modernisering van het Siam-koninkrijk. Lang voor Thailand, zoals je het vandaag ziet, ligt de geschiedenis van dit koninkrijk in de ruïnes die ruimschoots aan het verleden doen denken. Tempels die de invloed van het Khmer-koninkrijk betekenen, komen met verhalen en de mythe van deze architecturen. Alles wacht op u tijdens deze hele dag verkennen.
Je excursie begint in de lobby van je hotel waar onze gids je begroet. We gaan noordwaarts naar onze eerste stop, Lopburi City. Terwijl je de regio binnenkomt, zie je veel apen die vrij rondlopen en zelfs meer bij de Khmer-geïnspireerde monumenten van Prang Sam Yot.
Het werd gebouwd in de late 17e eeuw. Bijgedragen door de Franse architecten, heeft het paleis een unieke mix van Khmer-Europese stijlen. Het speelde ooit een belangrijke rol toen Lopburi de tweede hoofdstad van Siam werd verklaard door koning Narai de Grote. Later werd verlaten toen koning Narai stierf.
We gaan na de lunch richting Ayutthaya. Ga naar de belangrijke tempels in het historische park van Ayutthaya.
Het belangrijkste hoogtepunt en het meest gewilde lokaliseert in Wat Mahatat, waar je je verwondert over het Boeddha-hoofd dat verstrikt is in boomwortels die de tempel domineren
eindigend onze excursie met het bezoek aan de oude tempel die een deel van het koninklijk paleis, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet was. Het is de belangrijkste tempel in het koninkrijk Ayutthaya. En is een andere Koninklijke Tempel zonder ingezetene monnik afgezien van de tempel van Emerald Buddha in Bangkok
Een indrukwekkende tempel die zowel door lokale als buitenlandse toeristen wordt gezocht. Navigeer door deze koninklijke tempel in Khmer-stijl die de koning tijdens het Ayutthaya-tijdperk heeft gebruikt

Excellent and informative tour. We really enjoyed learning about the history of the sites. We never felt rushed, very thorough. If these sites interest you, I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Danni did a great job. We also had a delicious lunch.

We took a tour with Snakie! He was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed everything a out our tour. The entire day was beyond amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour with Snakie. We got to see so much and we also learned so much history. Amazing day!!!

We chose this tour because we did not have the time to coordinate logistics for our own tour of both cities in one day. Plus we did not want to be stuck out in the heat. Our guide (Amy or Amoh) was lovely. Very friendly, informative, and managed the tour well. We loved the place she took us for lunch as well. My only disappointment was the cost - almost $400 for one adult and two children. Compared to other tours and expenses during our trip in Thailand this is way above normal which I now know. As a comparison - we later did a half day elephant experience with transport for $90 for 3 people and a full day lake/hike/swim tour including 2 hours transport and lunch for $100 - for 3 people. This is 4-5x the amount of similar tours. I’m sharing only for context so that others can shop around.
