Daarna krijgt u de Sint-Jan van Lateranen te zien, de kathedraal van Rome met de zetel van de bisschop van Rome en tot de 14e eeuw de oorspronkelijke residentie van de pausen.

Rahul is an amazing guide. His knowledge of the history and architecture of Rome is unsurpassed. Our tour guide, Roberta, was amazing! She walked us through the ancient churches of San Clemente and brought to life the 1st and 4th century churches. She was a wealth of knowledge and was a great a story teller! After that we did the catacombs, which was very interesting! Roberta was funny, super knowledgeable and made our half day private tour of Rome very memorable. I highly recommend!

Book a private tour with transportation. The guide was disorganized, required taxi rides to each church location which we were told to pay. Not worth the nearly $400 we spent for this tour.
Rahul was the very best of the very best. I would never come back to Rome without him as a guide. He literally knew EVERYTHING- about every work of art, every carved stone, and where to find every source of water in the city. He accompanied our group for several days across the Forum, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Tivoli, the Vatican, and several churches and he knew EVERYTHING, putting all the knowledge into easy, accessible bite sized chunks. And he did it all with a smile. We were a large group and he did an incredible job.

Rich was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable. It’s hard to find a biblical theologian and one that will give all sides and not just the “same catholic tour” over and over again. Seeing Paul’s church. Where Peter and Paul were “semi laid to rest” being their skulls are in one place and their bodies at the prison, to the holy steps (brought from Jerusalem) to the most magnificent St John’s church. We absolutely loved our day. We went and found the prison on our own. You do need a ticket when it will show “sold out” but they only sell at the door and the guide is through a QR code. It’s horrible how the Romans treated the apostles and our Lord Jesus, but Rich brought it to life so that we could be spiritually moved at the sane time. The steps were not difficult and very spiritual❤️
