De een woonde meer dan 40 jaar in Giverny en de ander woonde de 3 laatste maanden en de meest productieve van zijn carrière in Auvers sur Oise. De tour omvat het ophalen van hotels en het overslaan van de lijnkaartjes naar het huis van Monet in Giverny en in de herberg waar Van Gogh woonde.

Dimitry was a garcious and knowledgeable tour guide. His knowledge of the art history was interesting and thought provoking especially with regard to the influence of Japanese art on Monet and Van Gogh. He arrived early and kept us well-informed of where we were going, how the guide was organized, where to meet him, and etc. He also provided useful information regarding other Paris-related activities, landmarks, gardens, and restaurants. He quickly figured out that my finacee is very interested in tlandscapes, and recommended several gardens for us to tour while staying in Paris. He volunteered to use my phone to take our photos together in several unique locations. I would not hesitate to book Dimitry for other tours. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.
We loved spending the day seeing the real places that Monet (Giverny) and Van Gogh (Auvers sur Oise) lived. We have loved their paintings for most of our lives, and have viewed their art work countless times in books and at museums all over the world. Seeing the actual gardens, buildings, and landscape that inspired them was just beyond amazing. Dario, our guide, was very accommodating and let us move at our own pace. It would be very difficult to see both places in one day without this tour. We would highly recommend seeing both places.
We just had a private day tour to Giverny and Ois with Vincent, an outstanding guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and very happy to share his knowledge, but also happy to jus sit back and allow us to take things in an enjoy for ourselves when it was appropriate.He also knows a lot of things beyond the usual that will make your day with him more fulfilling than normal.Our favorite thing was the slide show and visit to Van Gogh’s bedroom at the end of the day. Very moving, even all these years later.A highly recommended guide for a great day!
Our tour of Giverny and of Van Gogh's last locale was very interesting and the tour was highlighted by a very well educated and entertaining guide. He was able to point out highlights and interesting facts and was very personable. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
