De eerste stop is op een fruitkraam, je kunt tropisch fruit proeven zoals de beste ananas in Costa Rica! De gids laat je enkele planten zien, zoals de ananas, Liberica Coffee bush, suikerriet en ook enkele bomen zoals Cacao, mango en noniboom.
Naast de fruitkraam hebben we de souvenirwinkel, hier kun je een heerlijke koffie proeven en geweldige merchandise vinden die in Costa Rica is gemaakt
Onze tweede stop. Bezoek bananen- en chocoladeplantages, waar je bananenplanten, koffieplanten en cacaobomen zult zien, de gids zal je uitleg geven over deze plantages.
Het hoogtepunt, een boottocht in een van de grootste grachten in Costa Rica, geweldige plek voor dieren in het wild, hier krijg je de kans om, brulapen, luiaards, kaaimannen, krokodillen, vogels en nog veel meer te zien!
Onze laatste stop is in Playa Bonita (mooi strand), op deze halte kun je frisdranken, smoothies, cocktail of bier drinken, ook als je iets wilt eten, raad ik je de rijst en bonen met Caribische salse aan, of Patacones de lokale chips in Costa Rica gemaakt met plantains
Het laatste deel is een stadstour in Port Limon, je ziet belangrijke gebouwen zoals de eerste Bapthis-kerk in Limon, het oude treinstation, de belangrijkste kerk in de stad, het Big Boy Stadium het enige stadion van honkbal in de hele provincie .

Uw tour begint binnen in de pier, waar onze gidsen op u wachten met een bord met uw naam. Kijk voor onze rode shirts voor gemakkelijke identificatie. We bieden pick-up direct binnen de pier, dus er is geen noodzaak om buiten de faciliteiten te lopen. Timing: Tours worden gepland 30 minuten nadat uw schip is aangemeerd, waarbij de vroegste tour om 8:00 uur begint. Als de beste lokale touroperator garanderen wij uw terugkeer naar het cruiseschip

Fijn om te horen dat alles goed georganiseerd was en soepel is verlopen. We doen ons best om elke tour persoonlijk, efficiënt en zorgeloos te laten verlopen, dus het is geweldig om te lezen dat dit ook zo is ervaren. Four us ( 2 couples) did what we normally do which was to book a private tour through Viator We were met at the cruise terminal by our guide Rosa and taken in a modern 6 seater to the canal boat ride. Rosa and Pablo ( guide for another party) spotted monkeys and sloths and iguanas in the trees and gave us lots of information. We then visited The Plantation and saw and learned about pineapple and cocoa and banana plants as well as many others. Our final part of the trip was to have a tour of Limon and visit a hotel on the beach where we could buy lunch. We asked Rosa if she could find us a nice local bar instead, which she did with panoramic views over Limon and the beach. We had a lovely chat with Rosa over cold local beers . Rosa is studying tourism and was bright and knowledgeable and very personable. We highly recommend the tour and Rosa

We had a great day in Limon Costa Rica with jeremy and Leslie. We learned a lot about the country and city. We were able to see many places, a banana plantation, beach, canal tour. We were able to see sloths, birds, cayman, and a lot of local vegetation. We even stopped by a fruit stand to try local fruits- delicious.

Excellent tour led by Kimberly and driver Luis. Wonderful exploration of a country unknown to us. Our guide Kimberly was great and brought us right into the fauna and flora of Costa Rica!

We met our guide (Christian) right at the cruise port. Our group of 6 had a private tour for the day and were transported in really nice "like new" air conditioned vehicles. Our first stop was the Tortuguero Canal for some nature sightseeing where we saw several sloths, several small crocodiles, a caiman, a basilisk lizard, and a family of monkeys, along with a few hawks and many other birds. We toured a banana plantation where Christian explained the banana harvesting process and introduced us to many other plants and flowers that are found in Costa Rica. We took a scenic overview tour of the port city of Limón. We had lunch (not included in price) at a local restaurant located right on the beach where to paraphrase the song "we got our toes in the water, azz in the sand, not a worry in the world with cold beers in our hands". All said and done, this was a great tour and a nice introduction to Costa Rica, which is a place where we would definitely love to return to in the not too distant future! As they say in Costa Rica - "pura vida!"
