Tokio zit vol drukte en bezienswaardigheden om te zien! Maar het doolhof van het metrosysteem kan sommigen vermoeien en uitdagingen bieden voor mensen met een loopbeperking. Bij Japan Guide Agency bieden we deze aanpasbare, privérondleiding graag met een voertuig aan! Bezoek de Thunder Gate van Asakusa met zijn gigantische papieren lantaarn voor het gevoel van het oude Tokio. Geniet van de rust van Meiji Jingu Shrine, een oase van eeuwenoude bomen die zich direct naast de popcultuur mode hotspot Harajuku heeft bevonden. Honger? Ga naar Tsukuishima om te genieten van het originele gerecht van Tokio, monjayaki! Uw gelicentieerde gids en chauffeur zorgen ervoor dat u geniet van uw persoonlijke tour. Houd je van merken van hoge kwaliteit en winkelen? Dan is Ginza een must voor jou! U kunt genieten van winkelen in de verschillende luxe warenhuizen of zelfs wat parels kopen voor een speciaal iemand (zoals u!) Bij Mikimoto.
Naar verluidt de drukste oversteekplaats ter wereld! Bewonder hoe zoveel mensen tegelijk in alle richtingen kunnen oversteken in een georganiseerde chaos. Ook de thuisbasis van het standbeeld van de trouwe shiba-hond, Hachiko. Probeer niet te huilen als je het waargebeurde verhaal van deze trouwe hond hoort.
Tech-nerd? Anime-fan? Gachapon-junkie? Kom langs bij Akihabara om de Japanse nerdcultuur te ervaren.
Een prachtige retro winkelstraat met veel schattige zwerfkatten. Kom langs om te genieten van enkele beroemde croquetes!
Ongeveer een half dozijn musea, een dierentuin, een Toshogu-heiligdom en de Shinobazu-vijver zijn slechts enkele van de attracties van Ueno Park. Ueno Park is ook Tokio's meest beruchte kersenbloesem party plek.

Tsukiji is de oude vismarkt van Japan! Het zit vol met heerlijke en unieke gerechten. Zowel de lokale bevolking als toeristen komen hier genieten van de geweldige selectie! Zorg ervoor dat je iets koopt terwijl je hier bent om het lokale bedrijf te ondersteunen! Our licensed guide, Izumi, and driver, Paul, were both great. Izumi shared a vast historic overview of each location we visited and expertly answered any questions we had. In addition, he created a friendly atmosphere and interacted with all seven of us. Paul did an excellent driving job and made certain he was there immediately when we were ready to go to our next destination. I highly recommend this tour to others.
Our tour in Tokyo was fantastic. Our guide, Kahori, contacted me shortly after scheduling the tour through Viator. She explained who she was, a bit about her experience and gave our group an example itinerary to help us choose places we were interested in. Our group had a few travelers with extreme dietary restrictions/ allergies. Kahori helped us find and research several places that would accommodate our needs. Kahori checked in with our group to remind us of the tour and was very attentive to our groups suggestions. On the day of the tour she was waiting for us in the lobby of the hotel and was extremely friendly and punctual. We visited 5 different areas across Tokyo (Senso Ji temple, Imperial Palace Gardens, Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo Tower, Metropolitan government building). Although we did do everything, I would suggest sticking to a specific area as we found we were on a very tight time schedule for 6 hours. We truly underestimated how sprawling the city is. We ended the trip with lunch at Tempura Asakusa Sakura. It was delicious. The staff was friendly and very attentive to our group. The tour was amazing and I would highly recommend it.

We had an amazing time on our 6-hour private tour with Kahori! She was so knowledgeable, sweet, and patient with our group. Our driver, Tamae, was safe and efficient, even showing us some extra sights along the way. Kahori contacted us a few days in advance to plan an itinerary that fit our needs and the sights we wanted to see. We started at the Meiji Jingu Shrine, then the Imperial Palace, then the Tsukiji Fish Market, and we ended at Yanaka Ginza. Kahori had engaging and relevant historical and cultural information for each site (she even carried an iPad with really helpful visual aids). At the Tsukiji Market she helped us find which shops to go to for lunch and explained all of the different types of food (we ended up having our favorite sushi from our entire trip from her recommendation!). She was really attentive to the needs of our group, always checking in if we needed more time and making sure we got to see everything we wanted to see. I would absolutely recommend a tour with Kahori!

Excellent experience with Mr. Izumi. He communicated with me in advance to arrange the meeting point and then ask about preferences on locations to visit. Yoshi was a wonderful tour guide for Tokyo! He was so helpful and knowledgeable and showed us the city. We had a large group that he kept organized and happy.
We only had 6 hours to see the most important attractions of Tokyo and our guide "nailed it". Rumi was so pleasant and personable, and did an amazing job sharing the history and culture with us. I only wish we had another day to spend with her!

We had the most incredible day in Tokyo with our tour guide Julie! From the moment we met her, she was warm, knowledgeable, fun, and made the entire experience unforgettable. She shared so much history and local insight while also making everything feel relaxed and enjoyable. Because of Julie, we were able to see so many amazing places in one perfect day, including Meiji Jingu, Harajuku, Omotesando, Tokyo Imperial Palace, Tsukiji Outer Market, and Asakusa. Every stop was thoughtfully planned, and Julie made sure we experienced the culture, food, history, and beauty of Tokyo in such a special way. She was incredibly informative, answered every question, and kept us laughing all day long. We truly could not have asked for a better guide or a better experience.
