Tijdens deze tour wordt u begeleid door een chauffeur die u informatie zal geven over de verschillende plaatsen die u bezoekt. Sintra heeft de charme van diverse paleizen en een Moors kasteel dat dateert uit de 16e eeuw. 8e tot 1e eeuw. XIX. Tuinen met magnolia's, palmbomen, ceders en kurkeiken zijn enkele van de bezienswaardigheden in Sintra. Cabo da Roca, het meest westelijke punt van het Europese continent, biedt een prachtig uitzicht over de oceaan en de stranden van Guincho. In Cascais ontdekt u een vissersdorp waar luxe huizen en smalle straatjes met kinderkopjes Cascais tot een zeer pittoreske plek maken.

Ophalen op een plaats in Lissabon om de tour te starten
Tijdens deze tour bezoekt u het 18e-eeuwse paleis van Queluz, waar de weelderige tuinen en kamers de rijkdom tonen waarin de koninklijke familie aan het einde van de 18e eeuw leefde. Optioneel bezoek inbegrepen in het reisprogramma.
In Sintra krijgt u de gelegenheid om te genieten van een cultureel, landschappelijk en gastronomisch bezoek. Sintra biedt een verscheidenheid aan paleizen, zoals het Pena-paleis, het Sintra Nationaal Paleis, Quinta da Regaleira en het Monserrate-paleis. We had a private tour with Rafael. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He was a safe and an excellent driver. Spoke very good English. He took exceptional pictures of us. He provided in detail information regarding all places we visited. He answered all of our questions.
Fantastic day trip! After I booked the experience, I was contacted right away by my guide and driver, Rafael. He arrived on time and was dressed in a suit, he then escorted me to a beautiful and spotlessly clean Mercedes sedan. He opened my car door every time, and was such a gentleman. Rafael was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his job, and I learned so much about the diverse and rich history of Portugal. The tour was perfect, we hit all the highlights and even though it was relaxed and unhurried, I felt like we did so much. I HIGHLY recommend this company and this experience!
Rafael was knowledgeable and very personable. Not only did we get a personalized itinerary for the day,, but he took us to a local restaurant for lunch with great food and service. The door to door service was great too! This tour was a wonderful way to spend a day exploring the area with personalized service.
Our guide, Rafael, was very knowledgeable about Sintra and went inside with us to Pena Palace for a personal tour. Also visted CasCais. What a beautiful town. We had lunch at a place on the beach on the way to CasCais.
If you want a VIP tour of Lisboa, Sintra, Cascais and surroundings taylored to your choice, this is it! Our guide Tiago was extremely knowledgeable about the area and Portugals history. Brought us to a really nice local restaurant, best fish I ever had! Nice car, nice routes and nice conversations.

Our private family day trip to Sintra from Lisbon was unforgettable, thanks to driver and guide Tiago! From the start, he impressed us well-dressed, professional, and speaking slowly in simple English since we’re not natives. Tiago is nice, friendly, talkative and informative, he loves sharing history and backgrounds of every spot. His passion shone through! We’d shared our plans and expectations, but he totally exceeded them with lots of surprises. Highly recommend!
All that is promised in this tour is impossible to deliver. We cut the Palácio Nacional e Jardins de Queluz and went directly to Sintra. There was barely enough time for lunch afterwards and a drive through of Cascais and no time to get out of the car. We even cut Cabo da Roca. It also seemed as though we basically had a driver and not a guide. Information at times was incorrect. Please be aware that Viator subcontracts these tours and the descriptions and what is actually delivered can be very different. I would suggest being very careful if booking through Viator.

You were informed that by visiting two or more palaces you might miss visiting other locations, as it is impossible to visit all palaces and sites in one day tour. You chose Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira, and you also said that visiting more than two palaces didn't make sense for you. Therefore, we adjusted the itinerary according to your preferences. Regarding the driver, I apologize if he was not to your liking, but our drivers try to provide the best possible tour so that the client feels happy at the end.
