Nadat u om 10.00 uur door uw Engelssprekende gids bent opgehaald bij uw hotel in de stad Bangkok, is uw eerste stop de Pak Khlong Talat (bloemenmarkt), een enorme afprijsmarkt die dingen en bloemen publiceert. Er zullen verschillende bloemen zijn die langs Maharat Road terug naar beneden gaan, en de markt is in de buurt van de Memorial Bridge, waar je de mogelijkheid hebt om de zaak van de ochtendmarkt te zien. Daarna heb je de mogelijkheid om je te ontspannen op de Chao Phraya-rivier en stuurt Thonburi een aangename longtailboot. Tijdens deze ontspannende rit wordt u getrakteerd op een prachtig uitzicht op het Thaise leven langs de rivieroevers. Lokale mensen vervoeren nog steeds veel dingen over het water, en je kunt naast ze rijden terwijl ze producten te koop aanbieden aan het publiek.
Vanaf de waterweg heb je de mogelijkheid om de prachtige bouwwerken en tempels van het Grand Palace te zien, bijvoorbeeld WatArun (de Tempel van de Dageraad). Het Grand Palace is een complex van gebouwen in het hart van Bangkok, Thailand. Het paleis is sinds 1782 de officiële residentie van de koningen van Siam (en later Thailand).
Vervolgens zult u een uitstel waarderen om Wat Arun (de Tempel van de Dageraad) te bezoeken. Lokaal genaamd Wat Chaeng, Wat Arun of de Tempel van de Dageraad, Bangkok, is een oude tempel die dateert uit de Ayutthaya-periode. In de Thonburi-periode heette het vroeger Wat Makok. Toen de koning van Thonburi de hoofdstad liet verhuizen van Krung Si Ayutthaya naar Krung Thonburi, bracht hij ook de Smaragdgroene Boeddha uit Vientiane om in Wat Arun te verankeren voordat hij deze later overbracht naar Wat Phra Kaew (de Tempel van de Smaragdgroene Boeddha). Bovendien kunt u de Royal Thai Navy Dockyard en het oude Customs House zien.
Vervolgens maak je een wandeling langs de Royal Way, Ratchadumnoen Road, voor een bezoek aan de stad. Op deze weg heb je de mogelijkheid om verschillende toeristische plekken, voorbeelden van Thais design en vooraanstaande aandachtspunten te zien, bijvoorbeeld de parlementszaal, het Anantasamkhom-paleis en de Chitlada Palace King's Residence. Je zult zelfs de Dusit Zoo en de Boxing Hall bekijken. Eindelijk is het een ideale gelegenheid om terug te keren. Na alle bezoeken wordt u afgezet bij uw Bangkok City Hotel.

Firstly let me say that the rating is coloured by the fact that the pickup was 35 minutes late and the communication with the operator was really poor. Once we got going it was all pretty good. The guide was great and we hold no grunts against him. The temples were very busy as you'd expect around this time of year but nice to visit. Boat trip was good, did think it would be longer but I guess they needed to cut it short. So, beer will fix the disappointment... doesn't take more.

I had a terrific time on my long boat canal tour. The driver and guide picked me up at ny hotel. My guide gave a history of the city as we drove through Bangkok pointing out different monuments and buildings. When we got to the wharf, I noticed there were different offerings with flowers, candles and incense to purchase. It was a holiday and these offerings were to float on the river and canal. My guide helped me purchase one including a lighter to light the incense and candle. When I had the chance she helped me light it, told me to make a wish and set it on the water. We entered the canals by way of a lock. The canals were lined with houses, mansions, temples and gardens. I noticed brightly colored cylinder shaped pellets. My guide said those were fish food. She told the guide to pull over. She bought two bags of the colorful pellets. We fed them to the fish who gobbled the pellets quickly. Every guide should by the fish food pellets for the visitors - it was unique and fun. We went to the temple of Wat Arun. She walked me around explaining things. Lots of people were wearing traditional ceremonial costumes they had rented from the store. When I said I wanted to rent a costume too, she took me to a costume shop. I picked out a costume and she photographed me with the temple as a backdrop. I returned my costume and she brought me back to my hotel where she picked me up. My guide definitely went above and beyond. It was a wonderful experience which greatly exceeded my expectations.

He made the tour feel personal and tailored to our interests, pointing out hidden gems we never would’ve discovered on our own. His English was excellent, and his stories truly brought the city to life. The boat driver navigated the canals with ease and a smile, giving us a smooth ride and helping us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time. The boat itself was clean, well-maintained, and allowed for perfect views of local life along the waterways. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Bangkok, and we can’t recommend Watchira and the tour team highly enough. If you’re considering a canal tour—this is the one to book!

Canals are dirty littered wth construction pillar. Place looks like got hit by an Israili raid. The floating market is gone and so are the reasons for doing this

Waterboat was less than 1 hour. Whole tour was 2 hours. Not worth the money. The tour guide was not knowledgeable. Her only aim was to take pictures of us completing activities.

Very kind guide and a nice trip. The title of the trip is long tail boat tour however the boat ride only took 1 hour out of the 4 hours which is disapointing
