Reisroute

This was a very different wine experience than other tastings we’ve done. Andrea took us to two smaller vineyards within the city where we walked around and saw the flower gardens, structures as well as the grapes. It was nice not spending an hour on a bus driving into the countryside. The tasting was very educational. We liked all the wines we tasted. She provided a very nice charcuterie plate, more than what we could eat. It was a great day, Andrea was very nice and well informed. We appreciated the hotel pick up. We highly recommend!
Dear Jill, Thank you so much for your lovely review! It was such a pleasure meeting you and Mark and sharing Prague's hidden vineyards with you. I'm happy you enjoyed the experience and the wines, and that you appreciated discovering a different side of Prague without leaving the city. I hope you had a wonderful family reunion and enjoyed your day in beautiful Kutná Hora as well! Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. And who knows—maybe we'll see each other again someday! 😊 Warm regards, Andrea
If you only have time for one tour while you are visiting Prague do this one!!! Andrea is an amazing tour guide. Every moment of this trip was amazing. She has the day planned but also flexible to accommodate the pace and desires of the guests. Her knowledge of wine is stellar and you can tell that she loves wine and loves telling guests about her beautiful city. We were amazed at the hidden gems she showed us nestled right here in the city. She also gave us lots of tips for great places to dine and enjoy wine on the remainder of our visit. And, also tips on other places of interest around the city - some we never would have known about had it not been for Andrea. It was a perfect day - our only sadness was when it was over and we had to say goodbye. We departed with memories we will treasure forever and a new friend we will visit every time we are in Prague. Trust me when I say you will be glad to take this tour.
Dear Vanessa, Thank you so much for such a beautiful review. That was truly so kind of you to write. It reminded me once again why I love doing what I do so much. 😊 It was honestly such a pleasure to spend the day with your family, especially during such a special moment of your Prague visit while supporting your daughter during her study exchange at Charles University. I really loved being able to help you discover my beautiful city a little beyond the usual tourist paths, and I’m very happy you experienced the tour exactly the way I hoped you would — relaxed, personal, flexible, and full of hidden discoveries. And yes… the only sad part really was saying goodbye at the end of the day. Although thankfully, maybe it was not really a goodbye after all. 😉 I’m already very much looking forward to seeing all 3 of you again soon for our Kutná Hora wine adventure together! I truly cannot wait to continue where we left off — with more wine, stories, beautiful places, and hopefully many more shared memories. Thank you again for your incredibly kind words, trust, and wonderful company during your time in Prague. See you very soon again! Warm regards, Andrea Wine Travel in Czech
Our sommelier guide was lots of fun, friendly, with a great sense of humor. She was very knowledgeable about Czech history, and the vineyards in Prague. The wine tasting portion of the tour was very informative and professionally done.
Dear Patricia, Thank you so much for your beautiful review — and please also thank dear Sue from me as well 😊 I’m so happy to hear that you both enjoyed the day, the vineyards, the wines, and also the storytelling side of the experience. It honestly felt very natural and easy with the two of you from the very beginning — one of those tours where it feels much more like spending the afternoon with lovely friends than “guiding.” I think the famous Toni connection definitely helped there too 😉 And thank you especially for mentioning both the wine tasting and the history side of the tour. I always try to create experiences that feel personal, relaxed, informative, and fun at the same time — so hearing this means a lot to me. It was truly such a pleasure meeting both of you, and I’m very grateful our paths crossed during your Prague adventure. Hopefully one day our wine paths cross again — whether back in Prague or perhaps somewhere over a nice bottle in Canada 😊 Warm regards to both of you, Andrea
Andrea was an incredible guide. She knows wine very well and is a fun person to spend the afternoon with.
Dear Lester, thank you very much for your lovely review! It was such a fun afternoon with all 4 of you, and I truly enjoyed spending the time together. I’m really happy you enjoyed the experience as well 😊 Thank you again for your trust and wonderful company! Warm regards, Andrea, Wine Travel in Czech
If you’re heading to Prague, make this the first thing you add to your itinerary! Not only was Andrea the perfect tour guide, she and her husband also helped me make the most amazing proposal happen! The tour itself it incredible - probably the best thing I’ve booked for any trip. you’re first taken to a hidden park in Prague that almost no tourists know, the park itself holding on to a fascinating story and a few really cool surprises. Then a wine tasting with wines exclusive to that particular vineyard, and a really knowledgeable guide! Along with this, some really stunning views. After the tour Andrea and her husband arranged for the perfect viewpoint of Prague where I made the proposal, and it couldn’t have been any better then it was! The commitment and willingness to help out was nothing shy of astounding, and they helped out completely with making the vision I had in mind come to fruition. The fact I got into contact with Andrea, who also rearranged a lot to make this happen, and the warmth she greats you with left me with an immense feeling of serendipity, thankfulness, and a fiancé! Infinite stars out of ten!
Dear Victor, thank you so much for this — I honestly don’t even know where to start. This was such a memorable experience for me, not only because it was my very first proposal tour, but also because of you and Lova. You were both so kind, open, and easy to be around — it really felt special from the very beginning. From the very first moment of our communication — even though I didn’t know you at all — I just had a really good feeling. Both me and my husband truly appreciate that we could play a small part in such an important moment in your lives. Being there, even just around the edges of it, is something I won’t forget. And I have to say… I’m very happy that Lova said yes — although I have to admit, I didn’t really have any doubts about that 😉 Thank you as well for trusting me with something like this. I know how much it matters, and I’m really glad we could make it happen the way you imagined. And as promised —If you find your way back to Prague — perhaps for an anniversary — I’d be very happy to be part of your story again. Warmest regards, Andrea Wine Travel in Czech
This is a wonderful tour, we very much enjoyed how Andrea incorporated her passion and knowledge of wine with the history of Prague and surrounding areas. I can't recommend this tour and Andrea enough. I look forward to experiencing other adventures and tours with Wine Travel in Czech.
Dear Chris, thank you so much for your kind words — I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I also have to say, I really valued that you didn’t just join me for Prague’s Hidden Vineyards, but decided to spend another day exploring Prague together right after. I remember thinking to myself whether “two days of Andrea in a row” might be a bit much… 😉 — so I’m especially glad to hear you enjoyed it the way you did. It was a real pleasure spending that time with you — very easy and natural from my side as well. Hope the rest of your travels went just as smoothly, and if you ever feel like coming back, there’s still plenty more to discover here. Andrea, Wine Travel in Czech
This tour was wonderful. Andrea was so friendly and knowledgeable about the local wineries and vineyards in Prague. She handled both the cold, snowy weather and our mobility issues professionally and kindly. We enjoyed the wines we tasted, including sparkling wine from Andrea’s hidden wine tote. The charcuterie and cheese provided with the tasting was enough for a small lunch. We would absolutely recommend Andrea and this tour to anyone who wants to learn about a little known wine area.
Dear Wayne, Dear Lynn, Thank you both so much for this — I really appreciate it. And yes… April being April 😄 I think we experienced all seasons in one afternoon! But I’m so glad we didn’t let the weather get in the way and still had such a lovely time together. It was truly a pleasure spending those few hours with you. Thank you again for your openness and flexibility — and for trusting me with the pace, especially with the mobility considerations. I’m really happy it all felt comfortable on your side. And I’m glad the “hidden wine tote” made its appearance at the right moment 😉 Wishing you both many more great travels ahead — and who knows, maybe next time Prague will show you its sunny side. This was a really nice way to get a private tour of Prague and learn about its wine history as well as sample some wine. Andrea the tour guide has a great passion for sharing her knowledge of wine and was very flexible and fun in the tour. It’s also a great way to see some parts of Prague you might not otherwise see.
Dear Sarah, Thank you so much for your lovely review — and apologies for my slightly delayed reply. I’m really happy you enjoyed discovering Prague’s wine history and its hidden vineyard corners with me. It’s one of my favourite ways to show the city — a bit off the main paths, with a glass in hand and a good story to go with it. Thank you as well for noticing the flexibility — every group is different, and I always try to keep the day natural and relaxed. I hope Prague (and its wine) will tempt you back again one day. Warm regards, Andrea, Wine Travel in Czech
The tour was excellent. We visited several unique sites that we would not have seen otherwise! Our guide’s knowledge was great and the history of Prague shared along with the wine knowledge was terrific. This was definitely a highlight and standout tour in our 14 day trip! I highly recommend this tour!
Eileen, what a lovely review — thank you so much! I really enjoyed the tour with your group — you were having great energy and such genuine friendship. You made it feel more like a relaxed day out with friends than a tour, and I loved every minute of it. Please say hello to all your amazing friends! Warm regards, Andrea
Andrea hosted us starting with a prompt pickup at our apartment in a comfortable sedan and a short drive to a public park where we had a glass of bubbly and wandered the park, learned about Prague, history and viniculture in the city. Spectacular sights and views. Then we went to the Botanical Gardens where there is a vineyard and wine tasting room where we had lovely snacks and tasted 4 wines. She nicely accommodated our vegetarian request as well. Andrea is a wealth of information about wine and “what to do and eat in Prague” and we used that info to inform our activities over the next few days. We would have absolutely not seen any of these places on our own. Highly recommend, even if you’re not a real oenophile.
Dear Sharonne, What a lovely review — thank you so much! I’m really happy you enjoyed the day exploring Prague’s hidden vineyards. It was such a pleasure to share some of my favorite local spots (and bubbles!) with you, and I’m glad the vegetarian pairings worked out well too. It makes me especially happy to hear that my tips helped you discover even more of Prague afterwards — that’s exactly what I hope for! Wishing you both many more wonderful travels and memorable glasses of wine ahead. Warm regards, Andrea
