I booked another tour with Florence Tours and the experience was spectacular! The private Uffizi Gallery tour was a dream—our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and made the art come alive. Skipping the lines and exploring the masterpieces at our own pace made it unforgettable.

The collection is huge, so you will necessarily pass by many things and sample just the highlights. Rafael is a very knowledgeable and animated guide, bringing his deep art history knowledge to the tour and adjusting the tour to suit our particular interests, making connections between the works and artists, and providing the historical background driving the change from medieval style to the Rennaisance. Our teenaged sons were never bored, which is a great accomplishment! Bravo Rafael!

I booked this tour after another company canceled on us day of. I even confirmed with them and was even communicating with the operator up until the start time. About 10 minutes after the tour was supposed to start I get a call from the operator saying they can’t get a guide for us and offered to put us with a small group, which we agreed to. But then that was no longer an option so instead they offered to sell us the entry tickets alone since they already bought them for us. We refused and opted for a refund instead, which viator arranged.

Our tour guide Rafael, was outstanding his knowledge and expertise in the tour taught us more than I had hoped for.

We were delayed in getting to the meeting location for our group. But thanks to the perseverance of the people at the office in Florence and the tour guide Laurena (sp) they found us at the gallery entrance and everything went well.
