Onze gids, officieel en onder licentie van Colosseo, zal u ontmoeten op het ontmoetingspunt. Met een kopje Italiaanse koffie hield de gids een korte inleiding over Colosseo en geschiedenis in het algemeen. We slaan de rij over en gaan het monument binnen. Tijdens een tour van 45 minuten door Colosseo, staat de gids tot uw beschikking. De gids geeft je ook alle benodigde informatie over de Palatijn en het Romeinse forum en je kunt het zelf bezoeken.

We originally booked with another company and they let us down by changing the time on us! However walking to the colosseum we were asked if we wanted to go on a guided tour it was a little steep at €50 each but we had a great time with David, he was very informative, and was very happy, making us laugh and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! Thank you! We even said we’d take our daughter and do the same tour again!

This is a scam. Stay away from these people at all costs. We were approached by a “guide” outside the Colosseum on a free day who told us we’d have to line up with the general public for 2 hours or just pay €30 each and have a tour guide give us an hour tour before entering the Colesseum with a 20 min wait. This was a LIE. Read other reviews above as they are accurate. Our tour guide “Sylvio” was clearly hungover and generally made no sense to us, so we left the group and entered the Colesseum ourselves easily. Yes we made the mistake of being too trusting and it was too good to be true but these people have no conscience and are out to rip people off.

Be aware or romanians, arabs and bengali people of this company! We paid 30€ per person which was suppose to be fore guided tour around colosseum which you can walk on your own and they will brinh you to the same live queue where everyone is waiting. Just before they will tell you this queue is slowly moving and it will last 2,5 hours to reach the ticket desk, but normally is 30-60 minutes of live queue.
Great experience to do a private tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and highly recommend to get direct entry and beat the crazy lines in Summer.
We were so tired and yet Carmelo did so well being patient with our kids and knowing all the great areas to take pictures. Very knowledgeable and did a great job! We would recommend this. Such a great way to see the coliseum in a private group!
We booked this tour deludedly because we were distracted. We waited 1:30 hours to enter. Julieta has very little interaction with the participants, little patience and predisposition, not to mention how pedantic she is.
The Egyptian guide’s English was unintelligible. We understood about 20% of his tour. He was unhelpful to a lost child. Not good.
