Deze privétour van een dag vanuit Ho Chi Minhstad brengt u naar twee intrigerende locaties: de Cao Dai-tempel en de Cu Chi-tunnels. Na het ophalen van het hotel in Ho Chi Minh-stad, spring je in je privévoertuig met airconditioning voor een comfortabele 2,5-uur durende rit door het landschap naar Tay Ninh, gelegen nabij de Cambodjaanse grens. Je privétour begint met een bezoek aan de ontzagwekkende Cao Dai-tempel, de thuisbasis van de onderscheidende Cao Dai-religie, die de leer van het boeddhisme, het confucianisme, het taoïsme en het christendom combineert, inclusief een geloof in het occulte. Ontdek hoe het leven er beneden uitzag terwijl je door smalle gangen kruipt die elk een afstand van 30 tot 100 meter afleggen. Tegenwoordig bieden de resterende kanalen bezoekers een echt gevoel voor hoe het leven was voor guerrillastrijders en hun families die tijdens de oorlog onder de grond leefden. Neem na je verkenning een pauze in het bos met wat hete groene thee gekookt met pandanbladeren, vergezeld van gestoomde tapioca. Na uw bezoek eindigt uw privétour van een hele dag met drop-off in uw hotel.

We did the day tour to the Cao dai temple and cu chi tunnels with the friendliest kindest man , Tony. Tony is a 78 year old man who is still so active , so out-going and friendly. He first took us to the Cao Dai temple in Tay Ninh and we stayed and watched a small section of the worship at the temple. He was very lovely and organised throughout the trip. He also spoke to one the ‘priest’ (i think) and he was a really nice Cambodian man who lives in Viet nam within the temple area and he also communicated with Tony and was very welcoming to us and Tony translated what he was saying for us. We then proceeded to the Cu Chi tunnels where Tony explained his memories from the war and told us some facts. He also happened to know well a guide in the cu chi tunnels and communicated well with him and us so we had fun but also learnt about the history of Viet nam. We were 4 ladies travelling and he made us feel safe and comfortable. I would really recommend Tony , he was such a nice local and such a funny guy. It’s nice to see such a welcoming person and shows a good representation of the Vietnamese people we have encountered throughout our trip! We booked a private tour for Cu Chi Tunnels and Cao Dai Temple. They picked up us from our hotel at the exact time and drop off wherever we want to go. Our tour guide Tony was so polite, friendly, funny and informative and also our driver. Tony was always ready to answer our questions. Lunch was included and the place was so peaceful. It’s totally worth the money!
We were not sure until the pick up if our booking worked, as we had not received a reply to our email from the tour provider Indochina Tours, nor were our calls taken. Everything fit from the pick up. Our tour guide shark was super funny and could give us a lot of background information about Vietnam. Special Thanks to our Tour Guide Hai for this awesome day! We had so much fun with you! And thanks for all the fruits you bought for us! All in all, it was a very informative and fun day. The temple was fascinating and through the tunnels the war became frighteningly real. ATTENTION: The Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station is no longer being approached, since closed!
<p>We were very excited to see the Wildlife Rescue Sanctuary but our guide did not take us there. At first we were told that the Temple and Sanctuary were the same. When we were not convinced, the guide said the sanctuary was "closed forever". We felt cheated by this company.</p>

<p>Was a good tour,the guide was fun. In particular we liked the Cao Dai Temple and cricket farm we visited rather than the wildlife Rescue Station, which was still fun and I tried cricket. Cu Chi tunnels was great as well</p>
<p>Overall is a nice tour. unfortunately, we are unable to visit the wildlife rescue station, But the tour guide have replaced us the cricket farm visit. The tour guide is very friendly and talkative. We are enjoy the tour very much.</p>
<p>My pick up was very late 70mins, due to viator not passing on my hotel details to the operator this meant that we sat in peak hour traffic getting out of Saigon which further shortened our stay at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Besides this, the tour guide very knowledgeable and driver of a private SUV was excellent. The Cao Dai temple and religion was confusing but very interesting. Crawling through the Cu Chi tunnels 70km N of Saigon and talking about the exhibits were a highlight of the trip. The late lunch was enormous and very tasty. We did not visit the Wildlife Rescue station as it was closed that day. Despite the initial problems the tour very pretty good.</p>

<p>Excellent private tour of the Cu Chi tunnels and Cao Dai temple. We also managed a quick visit to the Wildlife Rescue Station, which was the highlight of the trip. I saw a baby gibbon that was absolutely adorable. Our guide Tuan was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable. The only reason we did not rate it five stars is because the lunch was a bit underwhelming. Otherwise, great tour. We recommend it!</p>
