Kom met ons mee naar Crab Island (Pulau Ketam) met de veerboot, het authentieke lokale eiland voor een korte en snelle toegangspoort van Kuala Lumpur samen met onze lokale gids of chauffeur. Geweldige gelegenheid om verschillende kanten van de Maleisische levensstijl van vissers te ervaren en vers gevangen vis te eten in het plaatselijke restaurant met een fantastisch uitzicht op zee. Om de tour te beëindigen, stoppen we bij Selangor King Palace, Blue Mosque en Thean Hou Temple voordat we je terug naar je hotel brengen.

Deze tour start nadat je om 9.00 uur bent opgehaald bij je hotellobby in Kuala Lumpur en gaat naar de steiger van Port Klang. Stort met een veerboot op de steiger en vertrek naar Crab Island (Pulau Ketam), een klein eiland gelegen voor de kust van Klang en bekend om zijn visserij. Bij aankomst op het eiland ziet u drijvende huizen op houten palen boven de zeespiegel. Grijp deze kans om getuige te zijn van de unieke levensstijl van een visser en zelf rond te dwalen. Er zijn geen auto's of motorfietsen op het eiland, iedereen wandelt of gebruikt zijn fiets. Als u van verse zeevruchten houdt, dan is dit eiland een perfecte plek voor u. Er zijn tal van visrestaurants met vers gevangen zeevruchten met betaalbare prijzen. Probeer de lokale Lala-omelet (kokkels gebakken met eieren) en diepe vriend-garnalen, je zult er nooit spijt van krijgen. Onze chauffeur helpt u rond het middaguur bij het restaurant en de meesten wachten op een verrukkelijke lunchset met zeevruchten, geserveerd met gezonde Chinese kruidenthee.

We had a private tour with Prabaz and it was definitely a highlight of our visit in Kuala Lumpur and worth the price. Crab island itself is worth a visit, the ferry ride through the mangroves very interesting and the seafood lunch we had was delicious. Our tour started at 9 and lasted into the afternoon, which was a perfect length. The drive itself was very interesting as Prabaz told us many interesting facts about Malaysia. He took great care of us, answering any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this tour.

A lovely place to visit and Kimber was such a fabulous guide. We enjoyed an amazing seafood lunch in a really simple restaurant and we also enjoyed a deep fried ice cream. Kimber was very knowledgeable and customised the tour to suit our interests.

What a contrast from busy KL. A great day out an hours drive and relaxing 40 minute boat ride from the city to the island. Walk or electric scooter around the villages taking in the beautiful temples and the locals going about their day and finish with a delicious seafood lunch before the return trip and another temple stop on the way home. Yuvanesh our driver paced the day just right was friendly and a wealth of information. 10/10

An island little known by mass tourism, where there are no cars but only bicycles and electric scooters. You walk among the many colors of the houses accompanied by local music. We had lunch in a local restaurant enjoying some delicious fresh fish. Our very professional and kind Guide "Gunalan" accompanied us on this excursion offering us at the end of the meal delicious local snacks.
Great location for pictures - very colorful. Enjoyed getting out of Kuala Lumpur. We were the only foreign tourists - everyone else was either local or had come over from the mainland. We had crab in one of the local restaurants - very messy but excellent. Our guide was knowledgeable and really paid attention to our needs/requests.
