Angkor Wat is het grootste monument ter wereld, het best bewaard gebleven en het is een architectonisch meesterwerk. De perfectie in compositie, balans, verhoudingen, reliëfs en sculpturen maken het een van de mooiste monumenten ter wereld.
Bayon tempel ligt in het centrum van Angkor Thom stad met 49 torens waarin elke toren 4 gezichten heeft, dus dat betekent dat er 196 gezichten van Budhistsatva Avalokestesvara zijn en we lopen naar de volgende tempel.
Ta Nei is een laat-12e-eeuwse stenen tempel in Angkor, Cambodja. Gebouwd tijdens de regering van koning Jayavarman VII, is het in de buurt van de noordwestelijke hoek van de East Baray, een groot heilig reservoir.
Ta Keo was de staatstempel van koning Jayavarman V, de zoon van Rajendravarman, die ook Pre Rup bouwde. De tempel is ontworpen als een symbolische voorstelling van de berg Meru en heeft een piramidestructuur met vijf niveaus met overlappende terrassen, omringd door grachten. Op de top staan vijf heiligdomstorens gerangschikt in een quincunx patroon, die de klassieke Khmer tempel-berg stijl weerspiegelen.
Ta Prohm is de moderne naam van een tempel in de buurt van de stad Siem Reap, Cambodja, ongeveer een kilometer ten oosten van Angkor Thom en aan de zuidelijke rand van de East Baray. Het werd gebouwd in de Bayon stijl grotendeels in de late 12e eeuw en vroege 13e eeuw en heette oorspronkelijk Rajavihara.

We took a private tour of the Angkor temples, and it was a fantastic experience. The early sunrise tour was definitely worth it. Our guide, Ben, was great. They were very knowledgeable and friendly, and they made sure we could go at our own pace. We visited the three main temples: the famous Angkor Wat, the Bayon Temple, and the mysterious Ta Prohm. Our guide shared a lot of history and stories about each place, which made the trip so much better. The private car made it easy to get around and avoid the crowds. We had a wonderful time and learned so much. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

I would highly recommend John to be your tour driver in Siem Reap. He is a very safe driver and is very respectful. It was also very easy to communicate. I also highly recommend getting an English speaking tour guide such as Ben when visiting the temples as it is very easy to walk by without understanding the significance or relevance.

Absolutely outstanding service from Siem Reap Private Taxi. John, the owner, speaks excellent English and is a safe, careful, and exceptionally reliable driver (he was always early!). His vehicle — a Toyota van with upgraded, very comfortable seats — felt luxurious and spotless. We originally booked him just for our airport transfer, but once we realized how professional and trustworthy he was, we hired him for two full days of sightseeing, and again for our return to the airport. Having a private car to explore Angkor Wat and the many surrounding temples made all the difference — distances are significant, and walking is simply not realistic. John patiently waited for us at every stop with no pressure or time constraints, which allowed us to visit at our own pace. While slightly more expensive than grabbing random taxis, it saved us the constant hassle of haggling over prices. Plus, stepping back into a cool, immaculate car with chilled bottled water waiting for us between temple visits was a real treat. Highly recommended!

John picked us up at the airport and showed us around various temples the next day. Ben - English speaking guide told us everything about the history of the sites and is clearly well educated and interested in the subject. Nice, clean car, friendly and trustworthy!

We did a two-day tour of the Angkor temples — one day for the grand circuit (Angkor Wat, etc.) and one for the small circuit. Our driver, Mr. Pheakdey, was knowledgeable and thoughtful, on one occasion even coming to rescue us with an umbrella when we got caught in a downpour. Dealings with Mr. John in the home office were smooth and problem-free.
