Geniet van een geweldig dagje uit, langs fascinerende en steeds veranderende woestijnlandschappen op weg naar de prachtige 'Tuinstad' Al Ain, die op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat. Bij aankomst is het eerste bezoek aan Qasr Al Muwaiji, de geboorteplaats van wijlen ZH Sjeik Khalifa, voormalig president van de VAE. Bezoek het bekroonde Al Jahili Fort en bekijk een permanente tentoonstelling gewijd aan de onverschrokken Britse ontdekkingsreiziger Sir Wilfred Thesiger, die in de jaren veertig tweemaal de Rub al-Khali, het lege kwartaal, overstak. Ga daarna naar de erfgoedsite van Al Ain Oasis, waar je gids je informeert over de oude Falaj, een ondergronds irrigatiesysteem. Voordat je stopt bij de grootste kamelenmarkt van de regio, stop je voor een heerlijke lunch. Later wordt er een laatste stop gemaakt aan de voet van de Jebel Hafeet-berg om de populaire warmwaterbronnen van dichterbij te bekijken voordat een aangename rit teruggaat.

Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je centrale hotel in Dubai, ga je zitten in je bus met airconditioning. Ga vervolgens achterover zitten en geniet van het uitzicht op de woestijn terwijl je naar Al Ain gaat. Nagesynchroniseerd de Garden City voor zijn groene parken, deze aantrekkelijke stad wordt omringd door het Hajar-gebergte in de buurt van de grens met Oman.
Na ongeveer 1,5 uur onderweg, ga je naar Al Jahili Fort, een van de oudste gebouwen van de VAE. Ga naar binnen om dit mooie fort te verkennen en ontdek hoe het werd gebouwd in 1891 om de palmbossen van de stad te beschermen.
Strek vervolgens je benen rond de Al Ain-oase om de eenvoudige maar ingenieuze falaj-kanalen te zien. Slingerend boven de grond tussen de palmen, neem een kijkje op de kanalen en ontdek dat ze al duizenden jaren worden gebruikt om lokale plantages te irrigeren.
Voordat je stopt bij de grootste kamelenmarkt van de regio, stop je voor een heerlijke lunch in een 4-sterrenhotel
Later wordt er een laatste stop gemaakt aan de voet van de Jebel Hafeet-berg om de populaire warmwaterbronnen van dichterbij te bekijken voordat een aangename rit terug wordt gemaakt.

- Geschikt voor alle condities
- Ophalen vindt plaats in een privégeschikt voertuig met airconditioning en privégids.
- Kinderen tot 5 jaar moeten een kinderzitje krijgen. Laat het ons weten als je een baby hebt van 5 jaar en jonger die aan de tour deelneemt. Kinderzitje zal worden verstrekt zonder extra kosten.
- Kledingvoorschrift: lichtgewicht zomerkleding is geschikt voor het grootste deel van het jaar, maar in de wintermaanden kunnen sweaters of jassen nodig zijn, vooral 's avonds. Zonnebrillen van goede kwaliteit worden geadviseerd. Hoeden zijn aan te raden in direct zonlicht.
- Gasten die de VAE bezoeken tijdens de zomermaanden (juni - september) worden erop gewezen dat de piektemperaturen overdag soms 42 - 45 graden Celsius bereiken. De luchtvochtigheid kan in deze periode ook hoger zijn dan 90 procent. We raden al onze gasten aan om voldoende voorzorgsmaatregelen te nemen.
- De lokale touroperator behoudt zich het recht voor om enig deel van de geplande programma's te annuleren vanwege overheidsbeslissingen, feestdagen, weersomstandigheden of andere soortgelijke omstandigheden.
- Gasten kunnen dit bespreken met onze gids en het reisschema aanpassen. Gasten moeten rechtstreeks betalen als er een extra toegangsticket van toepassing is dat niet is inbegrepen in het bovenstaande reisschema.

Our guide Muhammad waseem abbas was just great! We altered the pickup time so we could do the trip from our cruise ship. Al Ain and the many interesting historic sites was just as described. Learning the history of the UAE was great. The car for 3 was very comfortable and the interesting comments made by our guide were perfect. Loved the camel market and found it one of the highlights of the excursion. I have mobility issues and Muhammad was very accommodating! The day was very long but definitely worth it especially if you like history.

In itself a good day trip. The date plantation is large, but there wasn't much of an "oasis" to be seen. This should be improved. It's also a shame that there was no water to be seen at the hot spring. An alternative should be looked for in this case.

We took a trip out to Al Ain from Abu Dhabi and whilst it promised to be an enjoyable day, unfortunately there was a sand storm and viewing was very hampered. (Obviously not the tour operator's fault....) A number of places were interesting including the Camel Souk and Jebel Hafeet, the second tallest mountain in the UAE. Pity we couldn't see far enough in to the distance to enjoy the view. The Al Ain Museum and Fort were ok too but a long way to travel when you get a bad weather day.

<p>The guide was excellent but as the tour was taken on Monday, all museums were closed. The tour lasted 6 hours and not advertised 9.</p>

<p>This is an expensive tour and the camel market and the oasis were the highlights. We would have preferred more time at the markets in fact. Could have passed on the archeological site that wasn't.</p>
