Een Expert leidde Privétour Combineer een bezoek aan de Akropolis en het Parthenon met een fascinerende verkenning van de mooiste straten en wijken van de Plaka. De Akropolis met zijn indrukwekkende torenhoge monumenten en tempels gewijd aan de godin Athena en machtige god Poseidon zal tot leven worden gebracht door uw ervaren Expert Gids onder de panoramische uitzichten op de stad hieronder voordat u door de olijfbomen afdaalt naar de meest pittoreske wijken van de oude stad. Hier verkent u de mooiste en meest typische plaatsen, zoals de Anafiotika-buurt, Lysikrates Monument, Filimouso-plein, Lyssiou en Mnesikleous straten onder vele andere sites en sommige verborgen buiten de gebaande paden plaatsen. Gaan in uw eigen tempo en geschikt voor alle leeftijden is dit een prachtige start van elke tour van Griekenland. ONTMOETING MET ONZE GIDS. Je Gids wacht op je bij Makrygianni Street 7 (vlakbij het Nieuwe Akropolis Museum). Onze ontmoetingsplek biedt een ideaal perspectief om de omringende muur van de Akropolis gebouwd door de vroegere Myceense beschaving te bekijken en om u een introductie te geven tot de geschiedenis van de Akropolis, het belang en de rol ervan in het leven van het oude Griekenland, en een overzicht van de tempels en geweldige monumenten die u op het punt staat te zien.
TOURING DE ACROPOLIS en PARTHENON. Uw informatieve Gids zal alle belangrijke plaatsen in de Akropolis tot leven brengen, waaronder : Het THEATER VAN DIONYSUS, beschouwd als 's werelds oudste, en omhoog naar de gigantische ingang van de PROPHILIA, om te horen over alle tempels en andere structuren op de rots van de Akropolis, waaronder de gerestaureerde TEMPEL VAN ATHENA NIKE, het PARTHENON en het Mystieke ERECHTHEION. Geniet van de mythes en legendes die verband houden met de tempels onder de uitzichten van Athene en daal uiteindelijk af tussen de olijfbomen om het HEROD ATTICUS ODEON THEATER te bekijken terwijl u richting de nabijgelegen wijk Plaka gaat. BOEKINGSOPTIE OM ETEN TE PROEVEN Als u deze boekingsoptie hebt geselecteerd, kunt u zich ook onderdompelen in de lokale Griekse eetcultuur terwijl u leert over vele traditionele delicatessen, van Loukomades tot yemista', yigandes' beeftekia en vele anderen, waaronder een grote verscheidenheid aan traditionele pitta's (speciale taarten gemaakt met dun 'filo'-gebak). Bekijk hoe ze worden gemaakt en eindig met uw keuze van gerecht met uw behulpzame Gids.

Fabulous 3 hours leisurely walking up to the acropolis, taking breaks, listening to rich stories in the shade. The pace was perfect and informative. Marissa is a fantastic guide, so caring and knowledgeable. She made the experience one of a kind and very memorable.

Good tour guide, knowledgeable and nice, but didn’t exceed expectations. Sure, my kids were difficult, but I don’t think that should make our guide change her attitude. Maybe if this was an all-adult private tour, our guide would have shined. But our guide ended the tour 30 minutes before our paid-for time.
Dear Mr Tanner, Thank you for your comments, but we find them unfair and must object. We expected a family of 4 but you were alone as a father with 2 very young children of 4 and 6 who were obviously already tired with one crying throughout and wanting to be carried. With such small children this is of course understandable and our guide tried as much as possible to engage but unfortunately since the children were not so easy at that particular time as you also said, she (as anyone else may have done) found this challenging. Since you came with a stroller, which is not allowed inside the Acropolis, and which your guide helped you to store, this meant you needed to enter and exit the Acropolis from the same gate which made it impossible to leave through the north side & continue to see one part of the Plaka according to the schedule since this is not accessible with a stroller. This is why your guide left slightly earlier since it was not possible for her to complete this part of the itinerary. This would not be the fault of our guide. Taking everything into account, as well as the great experience our guides have daily with family groups which are consistently highly rated, we feel your rating has not been reflective of your tour or the best efforts of our guide.
Well-organized experience, very prepared guide and always ready to answer all questions. However, I found the cost very high (380€ + 85€ apart for entrance tickets to the acropolis) for a tour of just 3 hours and the time (10.30) too hot, it would have been better to start at least at 9.

Elena was a wonderful tour guide for the Acropolis - perfect amount of information and pace for our family and got us through lines and to good photo spots with ease. However, the second half is not a food “tour” of Plaka. After the Acropolis, we walked to a restaurant in Plaka and ate lunch and that was it. I expected more of a a local experience to maybe eat at various places to try local foods. I think this experience was overpriced for what it was.
Dear Elena, We are glad you were happy with our guide during your tour. The additional option including food which you had selected was not meant to be a food tour. However, we see this was not well described on our tour so we have temporarily removed this option until we have time to change the matching text for better accuracy. We apologize if it seemed that a more extensive food tour was expected.

5/5 best tour you could take! our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable and knew exactly where to stand so we would use some of the first to get into the site. She met us promptly at 7:30 AM and gave us all of the rich history of the neighborhood around and was even so kindto help me get special assistance with my disability. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.
