Volg deze tour voor een overzicht van de meest bezochte bezienswaardigheden in Abu Dhabi - de hoofdstad van de VAE. Bij aankomst in Abu Dhabi stopt u eerst bij de Sheikh Zayed-moskee, een van de grootste ter wereld. De moskee is volledig bekleed met marmer en heeft talrijke islamitische decoraties. Rijd langs de Corniche aan het water voor een bezoek aan het Heritage Village, gebouwd op een kunstmatige golfbreker, en met scènes uit de pre-olietijd van de regio. Maak prachtige foto's van de skyline en geniet vervolgens van een fotostop in de buurt van het Emirates Palace, het beroemde "7 - sterren hotel" van Abu Dhabi. Reis daarna langs ongerepte tuinen en stranden om Central Souq te bereiken met tijd om je te mengen met de lokale bevolking in deze charmante souk. De tour gaat verder naar een traditionele datummarkt voor een goede blik op de duizelingwekkende variëteiten van data voordat u aankomt op Saadiyat Island, een culturele hub en de thuisbasis van het prachtige Louvre Abu Dhabi. Stop voor foto's en rijd vervolgens naar het nabijgelegen eiland Yas voor een stop bij 's werelds eerste Ferrari World-pretpark voor souvenirs.

Verlaat uw centraal gelegen hotel in Dubai met uw privégids en reis vervolgens zuidwaarts naar Abu Dhabi, ongeveer 1,5 uur rijden. Deze tour bezoekt de hoofdstad van de VAE, Abu Dhabi City, voor een overzicht van de eilanden waarover het verspreid is. Ontmoet je gids in de lobby van het hotel voor een sightseeingtour van een hele dag door het 'Arabische juweel'. Een ontspannen rit van 90 minuten brengt je naar de Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, een van de grootste ter wereld met 40.000 gelovigen. De Grote Moskee is volledig bekleed met marmer en versierd met tal van ingewikkelde islamitische motieven die met de hand zijn gelegd in halfedelsteen, en heeft ook een onbetaalbaar tapijt en Swarovski-kroonluchters.
Geniet daarna van stops voor foto's in het beroemde Emirates Palace hotel en de aangrenzende Breakwater met ansichtkaartuitzichten op de skyline van 'Manhattan van het Midden-Oosten'. (ALLEEN BUITEN FOTOSTOP)
Rijd langs de Corniche aan het water voor een bezoek aan Heritage Village, gebouwd op een door de mens gemaakte golfbreker, met scènes uit de pre-olietijd in de regio.
Rijd later langs de ongerepte tuinen en stranden van de Corniche (Waterfront) om de beroemde dadelmarkt te bereiken waar honderden soorten dadels uit de hele regio te zien zijn.
Het is een korte reis van hier naar het eiland Saadiyat, een cultureel centrum en de thuisbasis van het prachtige Louvre Abu Dhabi, waar een stop wordt gemaakt voor foto's.
In het nabijgelegen vrijetijds- en amusementsdistrict van Yas Island wordt een laatste fotostop gemaakt in de buurt van 's werelds eerste Ferrari World-themapark voordat we terugkeren. (ALLEEN BUITEN FOTOSTOP)

- Kinderen tot 5 jaar moeten een kinderzitje krijgen. Laat het ons weten als je een baby hebt van 5 jaar en jonger die aan de tour deelneemt. Kinderzitje zal worden verstrekt zonder extra kosten.
- BELANGRIJK: Let goed op de kledingvoorschriften, aangezien u de Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque bezoekt. Als u zich niet aan de dresscode houdt, wordt de toegang tot het monument beperkt. Bij het boeken en bezoeken via een touroperator is het niet haalbaar om een abaya (lokale damesmantel) te huren bij de moskee. In noodsituaties kunt u tijdens de tour echter een abaya kopen bij uw gids voor een nominale prijs van USD 10 (afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid).
- Kledingvoorschrift - Vrouwen en mannen moeten conservatieve, loszittende, niet-transparante kleding, lange mouwen (tot polslengte), lange rokken (tot enkellengte) of broeken dragen. Vrouwen moeten een hoofddoek dragen voordat ze de moskee betreden.
- Schoeisel moet worden verwijderd voordat u de moskee betreedt. Mannen mogen geen vlees boven hun knieën laten zien en hun schouders moeten bedekt zijn. Lichaamstatoeages moeten bedekt zijn, zonnebrillen van goede kwaliteit worden geadviseerd. Hoeden zijn aan te raden in direct zonlicht.
- Gasten die de VAE tijdens de zomermaanden (juni - september) bezoeken, worden geadviseerd dat de piektemperaturen overdag soms 42 - 45 graden Celsius bereiken. De luchtvochtigheid kan in deze periode ook hoger zijn dan 90 procent. We raden al onze gasten aan om voldoende voorzorgsmaatregelen te nemen.
- Gasten kunnen met onze gids overleggen en het reisschema aanpassen, gasten moeten rechtstreeks betalen als er een extra toegangsbewijs van toepassing is dat niet is opgenomen in het bovenstaande reisschema.
- Als een bepaalde toeristische bezienswaardigheid gesloten is, een alternatieve attractie in geval van sluiting van de locatie

This was to be one of our highlights to Abu Dhabi. We were picked up on time in a well worn mini van, for the 2 hour drive, with a stop at Ferrari world which a theme park, and was closed due to Ramadan. Our driver spoke very little English, and had his ear buds in the whole time so when he spoke, we were not sure if he was talking to us, or someone on his phone. He had no knowledge of local affairs, the history of the area, just drove. The visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, was well worth the visit. It is quite spectacular. That said, there were 2 cruise ships in port and we struggled with 2000 other guests to get the perfect photos. Our driver/guide had no clue as to how to navigate the crowd. We just blew past the Emirates Palace Hotel so am still looking for the photo. The Heritage Village museum is a 5 minute visit with the rest just tourist stuff. We enjoyed the Mosque. But the cost of the tour was high considering what we expect as value for money. The Mosque 5 stars. Everything else 2 stars.

A wonderful and all inclusive tour with Nemish and a driver. We were picked up at our hotel and expertly driven to Abu Dhabi with a history given by our guide of the area and the culture. The sites were great and we visited the Louve Museum as well. A great experience and one that I would recommend

Our guide, Saquib, made our tour well-worth the drive from Dubai. After picking us up at our Dubai hotel, Saquib used the 90 minute drive as an opportunity to explain UAE’s history, government structure, the different émérites, cultural protocols, agriculture, economy, and the differences between Abu Dhabi and Dubai (we asked). Our favorite stop was, not surprisingly, the Grand Mosque. Saquib timed our visits to the sites at hours when few visitors were present, which made our visit very special. He also explained the meaning of different structures and artwork. Even the outside marble is heat résistent to allow for daily prayers! Should you take this tour, women must wear long, non-see-through sleeves and pants. Women also must cover their heads. Should you come unprepared there are vendors outside of the mosque (in an internal mall) where you can purchase appropriate clothing. Men have more flexibility in dress, though they still need to dress conservatively (short sleeves and long shorts are fine, though most men wear pants).
