Als u deze tour boekt, kunt u de ticketregels overslaan, aangezien uw tickets worden verstrekt nadat u de tour heeft geboekt. Dit is het paleis dat in 1461 werd gebouwd en tot 1850 werd gebruikt als woon- en parlementshuis van het rijk. Het logste paleis dat door het Ottomaanse rijk werd gebruikt. Het paleis is verdeeld in twee secties als Harem en Selamlık. Selamlık de mannen en Harem het vrouwengedeelte van het paleis. Our guide Omer made this tour truly special for us. He was very knowledgeable, gave us not only historical facts, but interesting stories related to the tour. He was kind, patient and friendly. We learned so much from him. The palace is huge, and for the best experience, I recommend taking a guided tour. If you can request Omer, you will be in good hands.

Our experience honestly couldn’t have been better! Omer guided us through Topkapi Palace, the Harem, the Eunuch’s quarters, and Hagia Irene. As history buffs, we were completely drawn in by how much he knew and the way he shared it. He didn’t just list facts, he told stories, added context and details, and made everything so much more interesting. His sense of humor and easygoing personality made the whole tour even more enjoyable. We could tell Omer is someone who genuinely loves what he does. We loved everything about Topkapi Palace and felt this tour was worth every penny.

Omer, the guide shared lots of fascinating knowledge about the Topaki palace and the world of the Sultans and the Ottoman Empire. The tour provides a window into the everyday world of the sultans’ household. Was really worthwhile.
