Een tour om het prachtige noorden van Mauritius te ontdekken op zijn vele bezienswaardigheden. Als onderdeel van deze tour bezoekt u vele hoogtepunten in één dag : Caudan winkelcentrum aan het water, ambachtelijke markt, cita DEl fort, SSR Botanische tuin, chateau de labourdonais rhumerie waar we rum maken met behulp van suiker, grand baie strand dat is de meest toeristische gebied in Mauritius, pereybere een zeer mooi strand en tenslotte rode dak kerk bij cap malheureux.

Het Citadel Fort ligt op de top van de heuvel Petite Montague, op een hoogte van 100 meter. Ook bekend als het Adelaide Fort (vernoemd naar de echtgenote van William II, toen de Britten land hielden in Port Louis), biedt het fort een prachtig uitzicht op de haven, de lokale paardenracebaan (champs de mars) en de hele stad Port Louis .
De Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden (soms afgekort tot de SSR Botanical Garden), beter bekend als de Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, is een populaire toeristische attractie in Pamplemousses, in de buurt van Port Louis, Mauritius, en de oudste botanische tuin op het zuidelijk halfrond. Beroemd om zijn lange vijver met gigantische waterlelies (Victoria amazonica), werd de tuin voor het eerst aangelegd door Pierre Poivre (1719 - 1786) in 1770, en het beslaat een oppervlakte van ongeveer 37 hectare. Naast de gigantische waterlelies, beschikt de tuin ook over kruiden, ebonies, suikerriet en 85 soorten palmen uit Midden-Amerika, Azië, Afrika en de eilanden rond de Indische Oceaan. Veel bomen zijn geplant door wereldleiders en vorsten, waaronder prinses Margaret, gravin van Snowdon, Indira Gandhi, François Mitterrand en Robert Mugabe.

Sahil was a safe and responsible taxi driver making intelligent conversation providing a good historical knowledge of the island. We had an amazing tour of the north! Our driver was kind and very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It was a long drive from the south and he kept us entertained. The tour allowed us to see several places and got to try delicious local food as well. The experience made us want to come back to the north again and explore the beautiful beaches. Highly recommend this tour and booking with this company for other excursions
If ever in Mauritius it’s a must; as this island has a history beside it’s beautiful beaches . He was so explicit throughout the trip and before every stop he informs me of what to expect . He was very helpful and tried his best to make this day tour pleasant . The car was very clean and comfortable. Thank you and i recommend him to other tourists.
We initially booked the SouthWest tour but Chucky contacted us and warned us about the Chamarel rhumerie being closed on Sunday so we booked The North trip direct instead. It was fantastic and Sahil is a great deiver and guide. We were picked up exactly on time and he companies us to all the sites. (Market, port, chateau Lebarnais Rhumerie, red roof church and then some). It was a packed trip and totally worth it. This tour has plenty to offer and Sahil is the best guide we could have dreamed of. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to really enjoy Mauritius.
We did a day with one of the tour guides, however it didn’t go as planned, so we raised this with the organiser (Chucky), who offered a complimentary day out in Port Louis to make up for this. This exceeded our expectations and we managed to see much more than we thought thanks to Chucky and Kevin. I would like to highlight his professionalism, fairness and customer service to resolve this matter. Definitely the best service we experienced during our vacation in Mauritius.

The driver arrived promptly and was very pleasant. He explained how we were going to spend the day. He gave us lots of information about places and life in Mauritius. We enjoyed the opportunity to see many places.
We had a great day. Rajesh was a good guide and careful driver. We saw the highlights of northern Mauritius in a relaxed way. In the afternoon Rajesh took us to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch. This is a must!
Super nice driver at Chucky Taxi!! He answered all our questions and shared so much knowledge. Very nice man who truly works with heart. He also adjusted the ride since we do not drink.
