Ama's Surf School Weligama Sri Lanka is oorspronkelijk opgericht om al die surfers te helpen die het gevoel hadden dat ze een plateau hadden bereikt of moeite hadden om vooruit te komen. De liefhebber die ervan houdt om in de oceaan te zijn, maar niet weet hoe hij zijn surfen naar een hoger niveau kan tillen. Terwijl voor sommigen het berijden van gebroken golven in het wilde water hen uitkomt, is dit voor de meesten slechts het begin van een langere surfreis, gevoed door de droom om langs het open oppervlak van golven te glijden die trimmen en draaien in harmonie met de oceaan.

AMA and his crew are good fun and very good at what they do! A friendly greeting, solid, informative lesson and his team were good company afterwards. My surfing improved too most importantly!

This is the third holiday we have had in Weligama and Sammy has been my kids surfing coach on every occasion. He is a brilliant teacher and we trust him completely with their safety. The kids now love surfing and hence we will keep coming back.

My husband and I had an awesome experience at Ama's surf school. Our instructor Rohan was great, and we both went from beginner to intermediate level in less than a week. I was really excited to learn how to catch green waves and turn left and right! Weligama is beautiful and one sunset session we surfed under a giant rainbow. Totally spectacular. Ama and his team were friendly, professional and fun. They were also really good with our young baby and accommodating to our schedule. Highly recommend for beginners and intermediate surfers too!
