We raden u aan om de Medeu-schaatsbaan te bezoeken op weg naar het skigebied Shymbulak Mountain vanaf de kabelbaan. Het is een buitenschaats- en bandybaan. Het ligt in een bergvallei. Medeo ligt 1691 meter boven zeeniveau. Het wordt beschouwd als 's werelds grootste ijsbaan op hoge bergen. We gaan met de kabelbaan naar het skigebied Shymbulak - het grootste resort in Centraal-Azië.
Op Kok-Tobe kunt u vanaf 1130 m boven de zeespiegel genieten van een prachtig uitzicht over Almaty. Op het grondgebied van het park zijn er speeltuinen met glijbanen, schommels, een fontein van verlangens waar je een wens kunt doen, een minidierentuin, het standbeeld van de Beatles. Na Kok Tobe gaan we naar het Kazachse nationale restaurant om de traditionele keuken te proberen.
Dit park is gewijd aan en vernoemd naar de helden van Panfilov die stierven terwijl ze Moskou verdedigden tegen de Duitse invasie tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Er zijn Memorial Glory, gewijd aan de soldaten en Monument van soldaten uit 15 landen van de Sovjet-Unie.
Het is een van de historische en culturele monumenten van de stad Almaty. Deze kerk is de unieke architectonische structuur. Werd gebouwd in 1903 en voltooid in 1907, gemaakt van hout zonder gebruik van spijkers.
Dit is de lokale markt, waar je souvenirs en kleding kunt kopen en lokaal eten en delicatessen kunt proberen. Maandag is een vrije dag voor alle markten.
We bezoeken de merkwinkel van de snoepfabriek Rakhat, hier kunt u lokale chocolade, koekjes, enz. Kopen voor u en uw familie en vrienden.

We had such a great time on this full day private tour. Assel is our guide. She is helpful, knowledgeable & patient. We spent the next 9 hours exploring Almaty, learning the history during the Romano & Russian era, culture, food and visiting special sites such as museums, the wooden church, republic square, the world's highest outdoor ice rink, bazaar and much more. Assel took us to Navat restaurant for the traditional Kazakhstan lunch. As a tourist we think the Park kot Tobe visit will be more for locals to spend time with families as it is an amusement park. We definitely recommend this tour to those who want to explore for one day.
One of the most enjoyable trips I had in my life , Assel was my tour guide and she managed to plan everything in a very short notice … with high knowledge of the history and excellent English accent and she is a nice photographer as well so despite I was solo she gave me very excellent photos and enjoyed it as if I am with a friend … also the car was very clean and driver was nice and drive well thanks to you all and hope to see you again … Rakhmet

Our guide Asel was incredibly good. She ensured that we had a good time, held great conversation for the entire day and really went the extra mile to help us. I highly recommend her as a guide if you’re English or Russian speaking (or a mixed group like we were!). One word of caution - for the ski lift, especially in November - spend the extra money and rent blankets. I’m not sure my toes would’ve made it without that 😀

Our guide Alina was wonderful. She introduced us to the history and the very beautiful and rich Kazakh culture with passion along a most interesting and varied circuit. We were able to exchange in the best way and enrich each other. Excellent lunch of traditional Kazakh dishes. Not forgetting our driver, calm in the driving

This was a fantastic tour especially when you have someone like Alina guide you through the places. She knows the Kazhak tradition and history the best and I would highly recommend this one with Alina the first day like we did. The best part was that it was comfortable and she made sure we were there at the Shymbulak early before the crowd started and we returned back when it was just about time. Had a fantastic lunch at a boutique restaurant in Kak Tobe. The icing on the cake was the green bazaar and the kazhak chocolate shop which featured authentic kazhak stuff. What we liked about Alina was she made sure explained all the stuff, negotiated with the vendors in Russian and was never pushy to buy anything. Add this in the review please. They are a bit expensive but worth every penny.
