Bezoek een van de meest iconische paleizen in Sintra, het Paleis van Monserrate. Dit 19e-eeuwse gebouw, gerestaureerd uit bestaande ruïnes door een Engelse koopman met de naam Francis Cook, is momenteel een subliem monument met duidelijke oosterse en middeleeuwse invloeden. Het verschijnt kort in de film "The Promise" uitgebracht in 2017. Dit paleis beschikt ook over een van de mooiste en meest complete botanische tuinen in Portugal. De volgende stop is het Pena-paleis, waar u zowel binnen als buiten een mix van architecturale stijlen kunt bewonderen. Het Pena-paleis is een van de beste voorbeelden van romantiek uit de 19e eeuw. Zorg ervoor dat u uw camera bij de hand hebt om het fantastische landschap rondom het paleis vast te leggen.
Een stop op een bijzondere plek waar je meer te weten komt over de geschiedenis van de wijn en de beste regionale wijnen proeft.
Ontdek vervolgens het meest westelijke punt van continentaal Europa. Geniet vanaf de kliffen van het fantastische uitzicht op de stranden en de zee. Vanaf de weg in de buurt van de kust kunt u staren naar de stranden en de prachtige steden Estoril en Cascais.
Op de terugweg hebben we de kans om te genieten van dit unieke strand met zijn beroemde duinen. Een echt toevluchtsoord voor surfen, windsurfen en kitesurfen.
En natuurlijk kunnen we niet vertrekken zonder het charmante stadje Cascais te bezoeken. Dit voormalige vissersdorp was vroeger een koninklijk uitje. Tegenwoordig is het nog steeds een van de meest aantrekkelijke bestemmingen voor de Portugese en buitenlandse elite dankzij alles wat het te bieden heeft: boetieks, restaurants, hotels, stranden en nog veel meer.

- Bescherming: In onze voertuigen zijn alcoholgel en gezichtsmaskers altijd gratis beschikbaar als klanten dat nodig hebben. De bestuurder zal het gebruik van een masker en handreiniging met verplichte alcoholgel na alle stops adviseren voordat hij opnieuw het voertuig betreedt.

Where do I start? Our guide Jose was perhaps one of the most intelligent people that I have ever met. As an individual who has traveled all around the world I pride myself on education to include both Teaching and learning. José was smart, professional, knowledgeable, and most of all Kind. As an academic Jose was open to all discussions and providing his input in a well throughout and logical manner. His Knowledge of world history is second to none and his love of Portugal was obvious in his discussions of all the sites and locations we visited. I ended the day much smarter and informed on Portugal than when I woke up. My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our day together with Jose to include a wonderful seaside Lunch. This tour is an absolute must do when in Lisbon and make sure you ask for my friend Jose, you won't be sorry.

This really is not a tour but more a of a driver taking you place to place. Our driver was excellent and tried to point out the sights of interest but we thought this was more of a tour not just driving from point A to B.
