Krijg de meest betaalbare, plezierige en avontuurlijke privétour naar de Empty Quarter woestijn op de markt. Verken de uitgestrektheid van de woestijngebieden met verschillende vormen van duinen. Beleef de adrenalinerit op de duinen met onze deskundige chauffeurs die de beste prestaties uit de terreinwagens halen. Daarna beklimt u zelf de duinen en doopt u uw voeten in het bewegende zand. Geniet van het adembenemende uitzicht op de zee van zand vanaf de toppen van de duinen terwijl de zon langzaam naar de horizon beweegt. Voor zonsondergang kun je de mooiste foto’s maken van het woestijnlandschap met de ondergaande zon boven de duinen. Op weg naar de woestijn bezoekt u een kamp met zwarte kamelen, UNESCO-site Wadi Dawka, een vallei waar duizenden wierookbomen groeien en de gewaardeerde oogst van wierookdruppels geven. Van daaruit vervolgt u de wierookroute naar de verloren stad Ubar (UNESCO), waarvan de ruïnes getuigen van het glorieuze verleden toen de stad diende als centrum voor de wierookhandel.

Verken Wadi Dawka, dat op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat, waar je duizenden wierookbomen kunt vinden in het rotsachtige woestijngebied op het Nejd-plateau in het Dhofar-gebergte. Ruik de geur van de kostbare hars die uit de bomen stroomt.
Ontdek Ubar - de verloren stad in de woestijn, ook bekend als de Atlantis van de woestijn. In de oude en middeleeuwse tijd diende het als een oase op de handelsroute van wierook. Helaas stortte de stad in het zinkgat in, dat verscheen in het kalkstenen gesteente onder de stad.
Rijd naar de lege wijk, de grootste zandwoestijn ter wereld. Daar zult u genieten van de adrenaline rit door de duinen met onze ervaren chauffeurs. De duinen oprijden, afdalen van steile hellingen en de gekantelde horizontale rit maken. Je kunt ook proberen naar de top van de duinen te rennen en genieten van blootsvoets lopen in het zand. Vanaf de top van de duinen kun je observeren hoe het landschap van kleur verandert tijdens de zonsondergang en een aantal opmerkelijke foto's maken.

This trip and 3 other trips with the private travel agency Takamul Travel /southern Oman-Salala/, which we managed during our 11-day stay, exceeded our expectations. All the organization of the trips took place under the direction of Mr. Tomaštík, a Czech living here and co-owner of this travel book. During his travels he provided comprehensive information about Oman, there was not a question that he did not know the answer to thoroughly. Flawless organization during trips, reliability, advantage of a small group, max. 2 cars. Kája Tomaštík, a young, empathetic person with the advantage of knowing the local language, which is a big advantage against other tour companies offering trips. Staying in Sálála and trips with Mr. Tomaštík was a great experience for us Europeans and we highly recommend it.

We were picked up by our guide in front of the hotel and driven to a part of the desert where you definitely wouldn't have come alone, even with a four-wheel drive vehicle. Unforgettable tour. On the way there still visited a camel owner and tasted camel milk. Very good. Fun and interesting tour, although not entirely cheap.
