Privérondleiding van een halve dag in Zanzibar naar Spice Farm

Combineer een reis naar het Jozani-woud met een bezoek aan een kruidenboerderij tijdens deze privétour. Je begint met een rondleiding door Jozani National Park, de thuisbasis van allerlei soorten flora en fauna, waaronder rode colobus-apen. Je gaat dan naar Jambo Spice Farm, waar je allerlei lokale kruiden kunt zien, aanraken en ruiken, precies daar waar ze worden verbouwd

De reis naar het Zanzibar Jozani Forest nationaal park omvat een bezoek aan het hoge, dichte grondwaterbos. De thuisbasis van de rode colobus-aap, een zeldzame soort die alleen op Zanzibar voorkomt, maak van de gelegenheid gebruik om de wilde dieren van dichtbij te bekijken. Andere dieren in het park zijn blauwe apen, spitsmuizen en bushbaby's. Ga vervolgens naar de mangrove, waar de natuurbeschermingsautoriteit een brug heeft gebouwd zodat bezoekers de wilde dieren kunnen observeren zonder deze te vertrappen.
Zanzibar staat bekend als het specerijeneiland, bekend om zijn specerijen en kruiden. Op de Spice Farm leer, ontdek, ruik en proef je verschillende specerijen, kruiden en tropisch fruit die beschikbaar zijn op Zanzibar, waaronder; Kruidnagel, citroengras, nootmuskaat, kaneel, kurkuma, vanille, kokosnoten, papaja, chili, zwarte peper, jackfruit, kardemom, cassave en nog veel meer. Ook op de boerderij zie je hoe iemand de kokospalm beklimt terwijl hij traditionele liedjes zingt (Jambo Bwana) en nadat hij heeft genoten van verschillende soorten vers fruit, waaronder; Kokossap, Bananen, Watermeloen, Ananas, Mango, enz.)

Amazing trip. The Jozani forest is a must do in Zanzibar specially if you want to see the red monkeys, that only exist there. The Spice Farm is a great experience too, a world full of nice smells and funny experiences and the food there is amazing!!!! Abdul and his team were very good at their job on driving and guiding us around. Thank you
We stayed at a hotel in Stonetown, but they picked us up on time. The car was also spacious and comfortable with a firm Toyota. The facility staff Guided us through both Jozani Forest and Spice Farm.

Overall a good experience. Walk in the Jozani Forest was a bit short and dissapointed, but it also depends on the guide assigned in the park. Also the decission to choose spice farm 1h away from the forest wasn't the best one. On the plus side I must say that the driver was professional and always on time (already waiting for us long before scheduled time).
We absolutely loved this tour. We chose Zanzibar as our early year vacation destination and I can fully say that it did not disappoint. We had a blast on the spice farms and Abdul being with us from start to end of our vacation just made it all that more special. He was always on time and we were able to see all of the sights. The guides on the tour gave good explanations and showed is so many things. Thank you to all and we will definitely include this on our go to list!
