Welkom in Istanbul, waar Europa en Azië samenkomen. Uw privé Gids ontmoet u in uw hotellobby of in de cruisehaven van Istanbul. Bezoek de hoogtepunten van Istanbul met je privé Gids. Dit is een tour op maat, dus u kunt zelf bepalen waar u op uw tourdag wilt bezoeken met behulp van de aanbevelingen van uw Gids. - U zult flexibilty hebben om te besteden hoeveel tijd je wilt in elke site en kleine wijzigingen aan te brengen in de route. - Je hoeft niet te wachten op andere groepsleden. - U krijgt de kans om stops te maken om foto's te hebben tijdens de tour. - Onze Privé tour tarieven zijn redelijker dan cruise shore tours. - Uw Gids heeft vooraf betaalde tickets om de wachtrijen over te slaan - Je hebt verschillende alternatieven om beroemde Turkse heerlijke gerechten te proeven, als je wilt lunchen tijdens je reis.

Uw privégids zal u ontmoeten in de haven of het hotel van Istanbul met een bordje "Uw naam" erop, wanneer u maar wilt.
Nadat u door uw gids bent begroet, gaat u uw privérondleiding aanpassen met aanbevelingen van uw gids op basis van uw interesses. U kunt beslissen waar u naartoe gaat op basis van de aanbevelingen van uw gids en u kunt extra betalen voor de entree- en parkeerkosten. Aan het einde van de tour wordt u afgezet bij uw hotel of bij de cruisehaven. Lijst met plaatsen die u kunt bezoeken: Topkapi-paleis, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cisterne, Grote Bazaar, Blauwe Moskee, oude hippodroom Update interieurbezoek St. Sophia: Live begeleiding is na 15 januari 2024 niet meer toegestaan in St. Sophia. Gasten moeten tijdens hun bezoek hun smartphone en koptelefoon bij zich hebben. Als gasten geen koptelefoon hebben, kunnen ze deze bij de ingang kopen voor 3,5 USD Het systeem is vergelijkbaar met het audiogidssysteem. Gasten die geen smartphone hebben, volgen de borden en de gegeven informatie op de borden.

We halen onze gasten op bij de hotels in het stadscentrum of bij de cruisehaven van Istanbul. De voorgestelde ophaaltijd wordt vermeld in uw bevestigingsbericht.

- Er zijn speciale kinderzitjes beschikbaar
- Reizigers moeten ten minste een gemiddelde conditie hebben
- Tijdens religieuze feestdagen zijn de Spice-markt en de Grand Bazaar gesloten. In plaats daarvan wordt de Arasta-bazaar bezocht
- Bij eventuele museumsluitingen wordt een alternatief soortgelijk museum bezocht
- Niet aanbevolen voor deelnemers die slecht ter been zijn
- Blote schouders zijn niet toegestaan in heilige gebedshuizen zoals kerken, kloosters, moskeeën en synagogen.
- In moskeeën zijn schoenen niet toegestaan
- Bij eventuele sluiting van musea wordt een alternatief, vergelijkbaar museum bezocht. Op dinsdag: Topkapi-paleis vervangen door Underground Cisterne. Op zondag: Grand Bazaar wordt vervangen door Spice Market. Grand Bazaar wordt na sluitingstijd vervangen door Arasta Bazaar. Op vrijdag: De Blauwe Moskee is geopend van 15.00 tot 16.30 uur

We had an excellent excursion around Istanbul today. My wife and had not been to the city before and it was on our cruise itinerary, so we wanted a private tour so we could sample the main sights without large crowds and also be able to have conversation with a knowledgeable guide. Our guide Buse met us at the Cruise Terminal having messaged on WhatsApp in advance. She was super friendly and helpful, and she met up with as at 8am ahead of being taken in a car to the Blue Mosque. We got there before the crowds and she explained everything about the building and its history. From there we went to the Hagia Sofia Mosque and saw some more amazing architecture. After this we had a stop to Sample Turkish Tea before heading to the Grand Bazaar, where we had free time to shop and also sample Turkish Coffee and Baklava from one of the local cafés. All in all walking between sites and being driven back to the Cruise Terminal we had around 5 hours exploring Istanbul which is for us to sample the city was great. We highly recommend the tour and company having booked this through Venture Ashore.

Great tour with Eda. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Cathedral Cisterns and Grand Bazaar. We were picked up promptly at the Cruise Ship port by Eda and transported in a very nice van. We were well educated on the various times in Turkey’s history and culture. Everything was explained very well by Eda. We stopped at a nice restaurant for lunch (not included in our tour) for a great Donair. Great value and Eda was very enjoyable to spend most of the day with! There were no hidden fees.

Driver and guide. Typhoon was very good. He seems to know his subject matter very well and delivers it in interesting ways. We went round foot mosques, a spice bizarre and shopping streets, called in for a coffee on the way round. Finished off with a trip to the Galatan tower. Would recommend this to anyone.
