Sherwin is the best! He was born and raised on the island, he is full of amazing, interesting details and facts. He knew all the best places to go and all the locals to get us the best seats at the beach, the best photo places, the best seats/view at the restaurant, the best food dishes to try, and the best places to visit later in our trip. We consider ourselves lucky to have had him guide us. He even provided his phone number to ask future questions, which we reached out to him about a photographer. He is an excellent resource of information and a super kind wonderful person! Definitely pick this tour company and ask for Sherwin, (like the paint)!

We booked the 6 hour private tour as a last minute decision for our trip to Curacao and we absolutely loved it! Pickup was super easy - Sherwin met us in the lobby of our hotel with a spacious and comfortable SUV for the three of us. Our day started with a visit to the flamingos and then Sherwin took us to great view points for the island. He shared so much information about the history of Curacao and what we were visiting and seeing. We started with the Shete Boka National Park - highly recommend! The waves are huge and with a private tour we were able to go to parts of the park that the larger tours can't access. Snorkelling at the beach was fun, but the highlight of the day was the lunch at Playa Forti. Sherwin called ahead and reserved a table with amazing views. The food here was delicious and definitely try to Oregano/Lime drink if they have it. The private tour was a bit more expensive than the big busses, but after seeing some of the larger groups do similar itineraries I know we made the right choice - closer access to the big mouth at Shete Boka, better photo ops, Snorkeling gear, prime lunch views, air conditioner (some of the tours are school buses), and a wealth of information from our guide. Highly recommend Gone Caribe!

Jessica was exceptionally helpful from the beginning. We toured the beaches and it was our favorite excursion of our cruise! In addition, she helped us plan the marriage proposal that my daughter's boyfriend was planning to make in Curaçao. Everything was perfect. She is endlessly kind and an incredible accomplice for the marriage proposal preparations. Her love for the island and her knowledge make her an exceptional guide. Thanks again for everything!

This is a must-do activity! I'd recommend doing this tour at the start of your vacation to help you decide how to spend the rest of your vacation in Curacao. Our guide, Sherwin, was FANTASTIC! I challenge you to find me a friendlier and more enthusiastic guide. His love for the island is obvious in everything he does. I think he personally knows everyone on the island! He loves to share his knowledge and will make sure that you get to see the best the island has to offer and have the photos to prove it. His vehicle was spotless, he arrived early and was prepared with towels to sit on and water if needed. The tour was very professional but also personal, and it felt more like friends going out on a daytrip. The value was great given the length of the tour. It's really up to you how you spend the time, but I think of this more as a sampler than a beach day. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and book now.

We had such a great experience with Jessica. We were cruise ship travelers and our departing times changed but she was still able to fit everything we wanted in and get us back to the ship with time to spare. We swam with turtles, saw beautiful nature and even got a mango from the floating market (my daughter really wanted to try her favorite fruit fresh). One of the best excursions of our trip.

Be sure to request Sherwin as your tour guide! His energy, excitement and love for his island is infectious! Sherwin is what made this tour fun and exciting. Sherwin took us to the most beautiful beaches and we really enjoyed turtle beach where you are most certainly to see turtles from both the dock and snorkeling in the water. He is a wealth of information about the island along with history. We really enjoyed seeing the Boka pistol blow hole and tour the Curaçao liqueur distillery. Gone Caribe was an incredible tour. We super recommend it. Jessica was a great guide and showed us everything. We took our 9 year old and she loved it too. The local lunch was one of the highlights. This tour was amazing. We made a new friend and found so much love in an incredible country.

The best excursion we have ever booked! Easy pick up just a few blocks from cruise pier. Super clean, well maintained full-sized SUV provided comfortable ride for 4 (ages 19, 22, 50, 51). Joey was a fantastic, knowledgeable guide, who filled the drive with history and interesting stories about his island. He customized our tour to my family’s desires. We were able to visit Shete Boka, seeing a blow hole and cave, and walk the plank. We then visited Playa Piskado and were able to snorkel and swim with sea turtles. Joey told us the best way to avoid the crowded areas and our time there. Then we moved on to Grote Knip beach, which was beautiful, and relaxing with stunning crystal blue water. While there, we were able to jump from the cliffs (at our own risk, of course). Such a thrill! Afterward, Joey offered to take us into Willemsted to see many of the well known things, like the swinging bridge, colorful buildings, and umbrella street. Overall, an unbelievable day and one we won’t ever forget! Thanks to Joey for an amazing tour!!!

Quite possibly the best excursion we have ever done! From the meeting point to drop off afterward, Joey with Gone Caribe was professional, knowledgeable about his home country of Curacao, and customized the tour for our family. We visited Shete Boca to see a blow hole, walk the plank, caught a glimpse of the underwater cave, 2 different beautiful beaches, swam with sea turtles, jumped from cliffs into sparkling blue water (our choice to do-not a requirement of trip), and visited many of the instagram worthy photo spots throughout Curacao. It was a total hit for my family of 2 young adults and 2 middle aged adults. The vehicle was a clean, full sized SUV, with plenty of room for all of us to ride comfortably. He offered bottled water often throughout the day. We rented beach chairs on our own at the beaches, and had our own snorkel gear. Joey did offer snorkel gear that he had as well. He offered to take photos throughout the day, and captured some great family memories for us. I would definitely recommend this tour if you have time in Curacao!
