Szentendre is een mediterraan juweeltje in de Donau-bocht met een mooie promenade naast de rivier en een mooi oud voetgangersgebied vol met ambachtelijke winkels, cafés en restaurants. De plaats zit vol met geschiedenis en kunst.
De prachtige middeleeuwse Citadel kijkt indrukwekkend neer op de Donaubocht. Dit kasteel was de favoriete residentie van Hongaarse koningen uit de middeleeuwen. Reizigers vinden hier een unieke middeleeuwse ervaring, een verbazingwekkend uitzicht en ook een interessant museum. Toegang is inbegrepen. In de winter is het kasteel en het panoramisch terras open biz de binnenkasteeltentoonstellingen zijn gesloten, alleen open op vrijdag-zaterdag-zondag. 01 dec. - 23 dec. Vrijdag, zaterdag. It’s easy going, not rushing around. You have a private guide & it was for only 2 people. If you want to shop, which I love to do you can do it at your own pace. Peter was extremely knowledgeable & adjusted the tour to our needs.
We had an enjoyable experience. Richard our tour guide/driver was polite and professional. The tour was well organized starting from our pre tour communications. He’s also very accommodating with pick up and drop off arrangement. The towns were charming. It helped that we went earlier in the morning, just ahead of the crowd. Highlight of the tour was the view of the Danube bend at Visegrad. It's simply spectacular on a sunny day. We were glad that we could spend a few delightful and memorable hours outside of Budapest during our short stay. I highly recommend this private tour.

Our guide was good a little bit quiet, but very knowledgeable. We enjoyed walking around Saint Andrews village and churches with all the historical information our guide gave us. The Tour of the ancient Council ruins was also very impressive.
The town portion is adorable. We went early and not all the shops were open. I highly recommend taking this tour but just a little later in the day. Visagrad is an amazing site and there’s a perfect view.
This was a great tour if you are looking for a quick escape from the main city. Richard was a wonderful guide. Very kind and knowledgeable
