Zelfs met beperkte tijd in Rome kunt u Pompeii, de Amalfikust en Positano in één dag bezoeken met deze privé-dagtour. Begin de dag vroeg met een ophaalservice bij uw hotel en bewonder vervolgens het landschap tijdens de reis naar Pompeii. Geniet van de tijd om Pompeii op eigen tempo te verkennen, en keer vervolgens in uw eigen auto terug naar de Amalfikust voor een tussenstop in Positano, waar u twee heerlijke uren kunt doorbrengen met slenteren door de smalle straatjes van dit prachtige stadje. Reis comfortabel in een privévoertuig met airconditioning. Een tussenstop tijdens de reis, voordat u in Pompeii aankomt, is toegestaan voor een kopje koffie of om wat snacks te kopen. Hoteltransfer is inbegrepen. Onze auto's bieden plaats aan maximaal 7 passagiers. Bij 4 tot 7 passagiers reist u in een SUV met 7 zitplaatsen of een minibus, en bij 3 of minder passagiers reist u in een comfortabele auto met 5 zitplaatsen.

Reizigers worden opgehaald bij het door hen aangegeven hotel met een klassieke auto of een minibusje op basis van het aantal passagiers. De gids of chauffeur verwelkomt reizigers in het hotel en verifieert de boeking. De reis duurt ongeveer 2 uur om in Pompeii aan te komen. Tijdens de reis kunnen reizigers 15/20 minuten pauzeren voor een kopje koffie of een broodje bij een verfrissingspunt. De reis naar Pompeii is niet erg schilderachtig, maar je kunt de Vesuvius bewonderen. In Pompeii bezoeken reizigers een oude Romeinse stad in de buurt van het moderne Napels. Pompeii werd, samen met Herculaneum en vele villa's in de omgeving, begraven onder 4 tot 6 meter vulkanische as en puimsteen tijdens de uitbarsting van de Vesuvius in 79 na Christus. ook de inwoners werden begraven voordat ze konden ontsnappen. De kosten van het ticket voor een bezoek aan de opgravingen zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen en een lokale gids is ook inbegrepen voor groepen van ongeveer 18 personen. Aankomsttijd 2 uur.
Om vanuit Pompeii naar Positano te komen, duurt de reis ongeveer 1,15 uur. De reis is zeer schilderachtig en zeker een van de meest gewilde attracties ter wereld. Je zult de Golf van Napels in al zijn schoonheid kunnen bewonderen en vervolgens de kust van Amalfi passeren, waar het mogelijk is om voor het landschap van Sorrento te stoppen om wat foto's te maken. De reis gaat verder met andere fantastische uitzichten die alleen aan de kust van Amalfi te bewonderen zijn. Zodra ze in Positano aankomen, kunnen klanten deze stad aan de kust van Amalfi, in Zuid-Italië, bezoeken. Het is een zeer populaire toeristische bestemming met kiezelstranden en smalle, steile straatjes vol winkels en cafés. Reizigers kunnen dus wandelen, winkelen en lunchen in een van de restaurants van de stad. De kosten van het restaurant zijn niet bij de prijs inbegrepen, maar ik herinner reizigers eraan dat er naast restaurants veel cafés zijn waar plakjes pizza of sandwiches worden verkocht. 3.30 uur retour

Busy day. You are dropped at Pompei and meet a guide for a walking tour. Then on to the coast. Left at 7 AM. Returned back at 730 pm.
What an amazing day. Our guide was on time and easy to communicate with. He made stops for us during the drive, including a stop at a lemoncello factory along the Amalfi coast as well as perfect stops for photo ops. When we arrived to Positano he had a reservation set up for us at a restaurant on the beach. The food and view were spectacular. Highly recommend this tour as it was a highlight of our trip.

Amazing tour. This was a Mother/daughter trip to Rome. I opted for the personal car since my daughter is pregnant and prone to car sickness. She sat in front with Max (excellent driver, very smooth) and she had no problem. It was a long day but very much worth it. Andrea drove alongside us with a nice family from Australia and we all did the Pompeii tour together with Franchesca, a very knowledgeable guide. Next we headed to the Almafi Coast and stopped in Positano for several hours of sightseeing and lunch on our own. We both enjoyed the day immensely and would highly recommend.

We had a great day with Andrea, our driver. Got to Pompeii swiftly and safely and then was set loose to use the guided tour or the audio tour. Spent 2 hrs before moving on to Positano. We would have rather just stayed at Pompeii as we didn't see much of it and the beach at Positano was ridiculously packed. Had a nice dinner and then headed back to Rome quite exhausted.

We had the most amazing family tour from Rome to Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and Positano with My Great Tour! Not only everything was perfect, but we felt, in every instance, that Anrea our driver and guide truly cared about us, both the kids and adults, and did his absolute best to make this trip memorable!! He texted us the day before to confirm pick up time at our apartment hotel and the very next day he was at our doorstep promptly at 7 am. We knew leaving from Rome this would be a long day BUT it was obvious we were in great hands. Anrea was very charismatic, attentive and warm, we didn't feel rushed at all. For our children (aged 5,7 and 9) this definitely was the most eye-opening, adventurous, and stunning journey of their lives! For us adults we were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of our trip: from archaeological sites to the gorgeous Amalfi coast to the charming town of Positano. He stopped at strategic points along the coast for those picture perfect memories and even helped us book a restaurant in front of the beach at Positano. It worth to mention he ensured the owner payed special attention to us. Truly unforgettable. What a fantastic private day tour experience to Pompei and Positano for my girlfriend’s birthday surprise this was. The day could not have been more perfect and we owe it to our driver Andrea. He was punctual, handled all the translations including surprising us with 2 reservation options to beach front restaurants after we came back from the Pompei tour - I simply asked for suggestions, he went above and beyond. Pompei was impressive, gave you a good sense for daily Roman life and Positano had breath taking views especially on the drive there.
