Tijdens deze tour bezoeken we de straat van de paraplu, het fort, het roze steegje, we hebben ook een panoramisch uitzicht over de stad, enkele fabrieken zoals chocolade, rum en uiteindelijk gaan we naar een van de mooiste en meest rustige stranden in Puerto Plata.

Dit eiland staat bekend om zijn goede Rum, hier laten we zien hoe ze het maken en proberen we ook 8 soorten Rum
Dit is niet de plek waar het standbeeld van Christus de Verlosser in Puerto Plata staat (aangezien dit vrij ver van het stadscentrum ligt), maar deze plek, die deel uitmaakt van de berg Isabel de Torres, biedt een van de beste uitzichten - perfect om schitterende foto's van het landschap te maken!
Voor liefhebbers van geschiedenis en sieraden is dit een verplichte stop, we weten waar en hoe ze de prachtige Amber- en Larimar-stenen vinden

Deze tour langs de kleurrijke promenade van de stad is een prachtige ervaring met aan de ene kant het prachtige blauwe strand, ook kunnen we het beroemde standbeeld van Poseidon zien
De ervaring van het proberen van verschillende soorten biologische chocolade uit de Dominicaanse Republiek mag je niet missen.
Dit is een van de oudste plekken in de stad, het ligt rond de zee, de schoonheid is uniek
We hebben dit strand uitgekozen vanwege de schoonheid en privacy, maar het is ook een goede optie omdat het goede restaurants, badkamers rondom, parasols en strandstoelen heeft.

Gasten die met een cruiseschip in de stad aankomen, worden door ons in de haven opgehaald. Ook gasten die in hotels verblijven, worden in de lobby opgehaald. AMBER COVE: Bij aankomst in de haven gaat u naar het taxigebied. Uw chauffeur zal in de haven op u wachten. TAINO BAAI: Bij aankomst in de haven gaat u naar de taxistandplaats, net voorbij de Lazy River. Uw chauffeur staat daar op u te wachten.

Jose was a great tour guide with positive, friendly energy. He guided us through the town taking us to a jewelry museum and chocolate factory before our stop at the beach. It was a great, easy way to explore on our cruise stop and we highly recommend it!

Phenomenal experience from start to finish! We had a private tour with Joseph Alvarez and he was amazing! On our tour of the country area, we were given a treat by visiting a local farm stand and learning about the indigenous plants, fruits, drinks, and tobacco history of the island. Upon driving to the city, we visited the Rum Factory, a chocolate experience, Amber and Larimar shops, the downtown area with time for photos and stops at Paseo de Doña Blanca and Calle de las Sombrillas and independence plaza. Joseph was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and proud to answer all our questions and share his beautiful home. Due to heavy traffic, we did not visit the beach at Playa Dorada, but stopped at a beach along the Malecon. The beach was not as "picturesque" as the advertised one at Black Jack Tar, but we enjoyed the stop and free time and it also allowed us time to stop at the Fort on the way back. Our only wish was that we had more time to explore and visit this beautiful area. We will definitely be back and could not recommend this tour highly enough!

The tour was only okay. The driver was difficult to understand. He took us to a rum factory, a chocolate factory, and an amber store, all of which were attempting to sell their products. He then took us to a nice beach and restaurant. Too much solicitation of sale for our liking.
Our goal is to provide visitors with an authentic experience of Puerto Plata, which includes stops at local rum, chocolate, and amber producers. While these locations do offer products for sale, there is never any obligation to purchase, and we understand that this style of tour may not be for everyone. We also apologize if communication with your driver was difficult at times. We had a great time seeing beautiful Puerto Plata eating great food meeting. Nice people doing some shopping. I even got to visit the Biblioteca. Highly recommended.

Joseph was amazing! Very accommodating and friendly loved his country and gave us great pointers for next time. We did not like how pushy the vendors were in the countryside except Julian!! Man he was amazing! But others did not give us room to look. Also beware of those asking you if you want pictures as they were trying to push for us to pay them more. It was very uncomfortable.
